    I don't believe the planet as such will come to an end but probably a very great deal will have changed by 21 December 2012 and it is already happening now - just look at what has just taken place in Japan! Earthquakes make changes to the landmass and the planet appears to be undergoing big changes in that way. At the same time an increasing number of people around the world have had enough of the way things are run with a minority of the fabulously rich that stay that way on the backs of the majority of poor people. People are calling for a revolution. People have had enough!
    I think our ways of life will probably change dramatically so it is more about an end to the current system of things rather than the end of the world!

    We will only know in 2013.

    I personally don't believe in this kind of stuff.
    For me it falls in the same category as having bad luck when you walk under a ladder, or you see a black cat.
