Do you believe in 2012 Prophecy that the world will end. Or is it just a load of Bullxxxx

Is all this global warming and freaky weather something to do with it. Or is it just a natural cycle the planet is going through

Not sure about the global warming having much to do with the 2012 prophecy, science suggests it's our wicked ways that are causing it.  I don't buy into the prophecy as such, it's become romantically sensationalized don't you think?  Regardless there are very interesting planetary alignments at the end of the year and the Sun is reported to be the closest ever to the Earth.  The Mayans may have hoped that the changes that occurred would be for the betterment of humans.  Perhaps they thought we would be so evolved, so enlightened that we would all reach a Nirvana. We mucked up there didn't we if that was their thinking?  Who knows these things?  I do sometimes wonder what mysteries were held in the Library of Alexandria, gems lost that could have shed light on their knowledge.

I can't see the world ending, but geez I hope it changes.

I don't think 2012 is going to be the end of the world but I do think many events which have already happened, have started shifting peoples conscienceness and 911 is a good example.
We cannot continue hating and killing and think our earth can survive. However I happen to be one who believes that Atlantis and Lemuria existed many thousands of years ago and where are they now? Did they leave the planet on their space ships because it was shifting due to man's abuse or will we find their cultures at a later time. I do know however I see that a lot of babies are being born into bright educated young families. I have two young grandchildren and these children are soooo smart. Working computer games as young as 2 and 3 years of age. Why would they choose to be born if they are going to leave so soon. But again I believe there is no death just spirit to body back into spirit.  Maybe that's why we have all the accelerated technology happening now. Maybe Steve Jobs was an Alantian in a past life.
Could it be the worldwide web will bring cultures together and by communicating thoughts and ideas we will find empathy for each other and have peace on planet earth? I hope so, we have been invited to a Fabulous New Years celebrating days after Dec.21, 2012 and I already have my dress.

The 2012 "prophecy" was someone's flaky interpretation of a Mayan calendar which merely tells of a great "roll-over," like on your car's odometer. It was the end of an era, and the beginning of another, just like going from 99,999 to 100,000 miles.

The Mayans seemed to add little or no additional significance to it.

The New World Order folks would like to sell us on a new Carbon Tax for making trillions of extra dollars, and for insinuating themselves even further into our lives, but climate is always under a state of flux. In the last 12,000 years, we've had many mini-ice ages and warm periods, including the Younger Dryas (~13,000 - 11,600 BC).
