What would you do if you won the lottery?

How would you spend a million dollars? How about one hundred million?

Ï would put it in a bank accoumt, that I couldn't take the money (for about 5 years), then I would try to study economics and business in that time, and after that I would open my own business and that would bring me more money.

First I would choose the annual payout option - not the lump sum. I would pay off all my debt (car loan, school loans). Then I would hire a financial adviser to help me with investing/saving the rest of it.

Invest it properly so I could retire knowing I was financially secure.

Help my kids out...buy them each a conservative home.

Buy myself my last home. pay off my car loan.

depending on how much I won...going on a memorable vacation with family & friends.

Pay off debts, secure a better home for my family, donate or create my own education program/scholarship.  I've always wanted to visit Greece and Ireland, I might buy a house there.

If I won a lottery, I would build a wide road in my village; I would build a welcome gate at every border of my village to her neighbor; I would build an International standardized football stadion in my village like the one in Barcellona, Spain - at once I would build an indoor sport hall around the stadion; only if the money that I got is enough to realize all of them, else I will give it away to somebody else especially those ones who need money to continue their study......!

I would buy a farm house in the country, help out my family and open an animal sanctuary. I'd leave enough to ensure that my future was secure. I'd also like to donate some money to Shelter - a charity for the homeless.

i think about winning the lottery quite often smile it's fun to imagine having so much money that you could help others follow their dreams...help others put food on their tables or a roof over their head...or clothes on their backs...to simply be of service to humanity!!!

aha, there is so much. . .
Since i'm young, and have no family, I would donate almost all of it. To my most favorite cause. (To Write Love On Her Arms.) The money I have after that, I'd be a little selfish with it and blow it on myself.  (:

I would do nothing for at least the first 6 months. I would come up with a real plan and find out just how to manage that much money properly. I would also not run down to the lottery office and tell them that I have the winning ticket, until I get some good financial advice. It might be better to put the ticket into a trust and likely avoid some taxes. Also how do you protect yourself from every scammer out there that is now looking to con you? Of course still do all the nice things like help friends and family, but just not jump in. I would certainly sail around the world with my family.
