How often do author scores get updated?

   How often do author scores get updated?
   
   My author score at the time of asking this is 56. I have done a few things such as post in the forum, comment on hubs, increase each individual score of my hubs, and vote and rate hubs. All of this was done in the past few hours and my author score is the same. Does this mean that I haven^`t done enough to increase it, or simply that it hasn`t been updated yet

   i went from a score of 19 to 90 in less than 2 weeks. i am not sure how often they are updated. however, the more time you spend on your karma score, leaving comments, answering questions and writing great hubs helps.

   smcopywrite is correct. One thing I noticed when I went on your profile is that you only have 1 follower. Getting followers-that is, getting people to read your work, rate it and follow you is one of the best things that boost Hub Score.
   
   Furthermore, HubPages hub scores are updated and seemingly at random. If you are doing everything you can, your score should go up, as long as you write quality material. Check out my Hub (below) for some more advice on how I raised my Hub Score.
   
   One more thing: Hub Scores constantly go up and down; they are not fixed. I have dropped 2 points in one day and I am sure it will change a few more times this week. This is normal and not to worry. Focus on writing quality and reading and commenting and following other writers you enjoy reading.

   It seems like every 8 hours, from what I've noticed.
   
   HubHopping, commenting, Publishing, amount of visitors to Hubs, and ratings by Fans seem to be the biggest factors.
   
   If I don't HubHop for a day my rating drops.
