Best hubpages alternative after the panda update?
Since hp was hit hard by the panda update. So any good alternative?
Pretty much all the similar sites that Google labelled "content farms" were hit. EHow was hit less badly in the USA, but hit harder in the other English speaking countries such as the UK.
You will have to think laterally. Creating your own website is maybe one option? That is one thing that I am certainly considering.
Google Blogspot came out of Panda well and it's free. But you'd need to stick to one niche for each blog, methinks.
I joined hubpages long before the Google changed its search algorithm. I wasn't however very active but the I came back after the change in Google's Search Algorithm. I feel its better to stay here and build a reputation, and since you already have an elite tag on your profile, why would anyone hop to another content management provider. If i was you, i would stay. You can see the sun shining only after the moon has set. And things will be back to normal till then i would start writing better hubs and better articles for google to crawl and maybe when another change in algorithm will place me on the top. And if not, then i m happy with my fellow hubber's visiting my hubs and leaving comments. Have a good day and i hope you stay. After all, Its not always about earning money.
The only real alternative is to create your own website. If you aren't able to do that, then Hubpages is your best bet. You could give info barrel a try, but I get less traffic there than I'd ever got here.
I'm diversifying. I write some content for upfront pay and I'm creating a website -- Panda kicked me into it. On the message board for one client, some writers report better traffic to their own websites since Panda, while nearly everyone at HP, AC and Suite 101 report major losses of income. I hope to see it all shake out. I expect well-written content on HP will rise again. I'm following the good advice I'm seeing from Susana S., Sunforged and other veteran hubbers, and exploring less competitive niche topics to increase my odds of making money here. I enjoy HP and want this to work. Of all the rev share models I've looked at, HP is the only one that's transparent. The other ones keep the writer's share of revenue a secret -- I can't get behind that.
Yes, Examiner.com. You don't have to place any ads......Examiner does it for you. Your earnings are practically guaranteed. You choose the topic you want to write on. I can help you through the application process if you like.
HubPages platform is different from Examiner. I write for both.
what!! is hubpages losing traffic?? don't tell me, it thought it could be a best option for me to write here and earn some extra bucks. well i think having your own blog or website is best above all
The big ugly Panda hit all of the content-farms so that is a really though question. Infobarrel seem to be growing larger and larger but i would stick to Hubpages! Diversify!
After the panda update i don't have any heart top write hubs i write them brokenheartedly but hub pages have given me so mush knowledge so em never gonna leave it .even if google place it in 100th page
I guess starting your own blog is the best alternative if you can do that
u can read this blog as a start up i just started this after the panda attack ..but em still writing on hubpages and plan to continue writing..but if you are looking for alternatives then i would suggest you to select your own niche and start your own blog for free dnt spend any money...Other hubpage like site...ummm. i guess ehow and ezine articles are hit less so you can give them a try if you dont want to start your own blog...
but stick to hp as well
Happy hubbing

I have been using Bukisa for a bit. It has a very well built interface, so it's easy to make articles. It isn't the same as Hubpages, but it is still pretty good. It's more like a rich text editor plus certain features. However, it doesn't have a community, so you won't get as many views. If you already have a lot of traffic coming in here, however, it won't be a problem if you link to your Bukisa enough.
There are plenty of Hubpages alternatives. Aside from my own, WriterParty, there are also sites like Xomba, Snipsly, Excerptz, and ThisIsFreelance. Were they hit less by the Panda update? Some were and some weren't, which all depends on the site.
I like going everywhere and I hope that HubPages returns to it's former glory because I have made over 50 Hubs and I don't want to pull them down. I think that different sites have different appeal and different audiences e.g. if you are a young person then you might find that you get a lot of visitors by doing "youngish stuff" on Tumblr. I think HubPages is a conservative place and has a large population of teachers and academics who want to keep it that way. I don't know if that is a good decision because right now all of the most powerful blog/social sites are being powered by a very young generation who upload several times a day and Google seems to pay attention to those sites that have massive uploads of unique content, videos, photos etc. I believe that we are going through a transition where the older people are going to lose their power on the web and be eclipsed by a new generation of internet users.
Hubpages is still the best revenue sharing sites around.
May be Squidoo will come close.
I would say stick with hubpages, things will change whether you stay here or go elsewhere.
We can also try for domain parking
Better you can try with co cc site also.
InfoBarrel and Xomba, along with all of the others mentioned here. I never made a dime at Squiddo...but I was raking in close to 2K a month at eHow...those were the days...

My HP traffic down since last three to four days and it's a matter of great concern for me. I have already written 50 hubs for the contest but still I am not seeing the traffic that I was seeing post google algorithm change. Is there anyone else who is facing the same problems. I have started...

I have kept quiet about this for a while now, but after the Panda update I saw my traffic drop a little then normalize (as expected after any Google update). However since I made the changes required by Hubpages (and I assume changes enforced upon everybody else) I have seen steadily declining...

I say thank you Panda for helping to restore quality content to search engine results. Hubpages definitely has gotten better-- the spam is gone and the cream is rising to the top. Also, I'm making more money than I ever have in the four years I've been on Hubpages so I'm a very happy...

Just curious, but does anyone have experience with this? How'd you do it? Did you tell Google the article moved somehow or do anything else fancy? Or did you just copy, paste, delete from HubPages, and wait for Google to catch up?Im guessing there might be some duplicate content penalties from...
