   Has anyone tried Celestial Seasonings "Sleeptime" herbal tea?
   
     It's supposed to help you relax so that you get to sleep or to sleep better.  Does it work?

   I have.  It's pretty good.  I wouldn't say it works.  I suggest just getting a de-caffeinated tea in a flavour you like and relax with that before bed.

   Yes I have tried it.  It tastes OK but I wouldn't say it helps me relax/sleep.  Then again I am not a huge fan of herbal teas (preferring regular tea instead).  I find "Constant Comment" brand in the decaff variety of herbal tea more soothing (I have it on hand for if I have a cold).

   Yes! It doesn't really put you to sleep, but it does relax you and tastes good

   Try these. Chamomile Tea or capsule, Valerian root in capsule form, and you might try Melatonin. These should help you relax and when I take them I usually sleep fairly well. Some black teas will help me sleep as well, such as Earl Gray.

   We have a cub bard full. My husband drinks it all the time. He says that it works somewhat. I don't know if the so ewhst is him just being sleepy or if it is truly working. Smile.

   I have but its not my favorite as I'm not a fan of mint!  I've never found it any more relaxing than any other non-caffeinated warm beverage. 
   
   For relaxing I much prefer chamomile tea with some honey.  Helps me get right to sleep.
   
   I've also tried melatonin as well as Valerian root capsules.  I prefer the tea myself because its gentler/doesn't feel like I'm taking a sleeping pill (which I don't like). 
   
   A good way to test out herbal teas is to give them a good whiff - generally if you like the way it smells you will like how it tastes.  Something that tastes awful to you probably won't be very relaxing!

   I would say that it helps in conjuncture with other natural sleep helps.  What I usually do is spray my pillow with a lavender mist (Bath & Body Works has a great one!) and have a cup of sleepytime.  The lavender hleps me relax and fall asleep and the tea helps me stay asleep.

    Bagged teas don't tend to work, because they are too small a dose, or the bottom of the barrel herbs. Your best bet is to buy chamomile in bulk form, and use as a tea before bed. You can also combine with valerian or passionflower. Don't mix more than two. While natural, they are still medicine. Be sure to avoid any caffeinated beverages at least 2-4 hours before bed. This includes coffees, teas, and sodas.
