At my church, you would get a resounding "No" in answer to your question. However, I have discovered that different people give different meaning to that same expression of "once saved, always save." Therefore, I reserve my answer for only those who first explain what they mean by this statement.
John 10:27
New International Version (NIV)
27 My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.
God's sheep will follow Him, Once a sheep of God always a sheep.
No - we have to work on it according to the Bible
Philippians 2:13 says: ....keep working on your own salvation with fear and trembling;
Only if you believe it to be so.
I know that I will never falter in what I believe, so I am forever saved. But if one does not believe this to be true, than you are not forever saved. The entire answer stems from one's own beliefs.
The key to the answer is that once you understand the Truths of Life you cannot help but be "saved". There is nothing you can do to relinquish the knowledge once you have found it, and that is how one is saved.
No; I am, and have always been, atheist but a fair number of my atheist friends have come from religious backgrounds and some claimed to have, at some point, been "saved'.
Many of these people attributed specific happenings as "proof of the existence of a god or Saviour" but after a time realize that it was just a happy coincidence.
Oh yes....Forgive means forgive God cant and wont reverse what he did.
Jhn 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
Isa 1:18 Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
Psa 103:12 As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.
Rom 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
Hbr 13:5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
your either with me or against me. I can't remember where it's at but I remember the preacher saying that all the time who baptised me a few days before my high school graduation back in 2000.
He would say you can't have one foot in the church and one foot in the world. But, I also have common sense to know that every human being is fallable and it is a constant battle.
I don't agree....There is always a chance for failure, I mean just look at the devil he was once one of gods most loved angels!
If you are baptized and receive the Holy Spirit, then yes. I do not agree that you can walk away from your salvation, although people like to pull up scriptures to fit this idea (Hebrews is the favourite), the message in scripture about God's relationship with us does not demonstrate that we can walk away from him once we have received the Holy Spirit.
I believe that you can lose your reward in the Kingdom, not your salvation and I think that's where people get it mixed up and think that losing your rewards in the Kingdom is the same as losing your salvation.

Why can't Christians and atheists agree to disagree?Atheists don't want any references or reminders of Christianity in public places. There is a cross at the New York twin towers which atheists says makes them mentally and physically ill. There is a cross at Camp Pendleton they want...

This question was pulled as a question, so I'm submitting it in the forum instead:If, with his dying breath, Hitler had asked Jesus for forgiveness, could he have been admitted to Heaven?
