How to handle a friend who will not stop bullying?

It is an adult situation, out of school.

Be honest and up front. Tell the friend that their conduct is bullying and it is not right. If this person is truly your friend that should be the end of it.

I don't want to sound like I'm from the place I was raised from, but I was. There's only so far someone can be pushed until things have gone too far. This all depends on if you've confronted the friend who keeps doing this. Now if he's a friend, I've been there. It kind of, well - sucks, to be honest. You don't want to wrong your friend, but as I'm sure we can agree - sometimes enough is just enough. I'm not saying that it has to result in a physical altercation - hell, I don't even know the circumstances. If things are too much to handle then, sometimes the friend needs to be put in his place, or - sometimes you just have to let a friend go. I've had two friends that were brothers, one of which I graduated high school with. The other brother was younger. At different points in time word had traveled its way to my ears that they both tried to put the moves on a girl I had dated before, had strong feelings for, and still did. I only had the chance the confront the younger brother, and I didn't put the macho guy exterior on. I leaned calmly against the wall at the sports bar I was at and told him what I thought. I had been close with them and their family, et cetera, et cetera. Sometimes, a friend just doesn't deserve your friendship. Of course, I don't even know the severity of your situation. Though, I do wish you luck.

It depends upon the situations. If that is manageable then you can tolerate .If its being irritating you then you can left those type of friends who push you into the problems.

How can you call a bully a friend ? if I had a friend who bullied then that person would either have to stop bullying or cease to be my friend ..Im afraid in my book friendship and bullying just do not mix.

I did, many times.  She told me, she's teasing me and she only teases the ones she likes.  Another time, she also told me she likes to get my attention.

It's hard to say, without any details.  I wonder how your friend would like a taste of his or her own medicine????  Perhaps they can then see the bullying behavior for what it truly is.
