How did you find hubpages? - What's your story?
How did you come across this site? Mine was completely random, I went on google after watching an episode of House to search how it felt to be in a coma. I always wondered that. Google linked me to a personal hub on here, someone who only had a few hubs but they were all very good. After finding them I thought it'd be cool to join and share my experiences too. That, and the whole money making thing was enticing as well of course.
I was looking for places to start writing; this seemed the best and was first on the "blog" search on Google, after Blogger - which is boring.
i was brought here by maneesh sethi an internet marketer or digital nomad as he calls himself, trying to make some dollars following his tips and advice to generate money and how to search for keywords and do hubs on that but I only followed his advice on 4 hubs and after that I just kept writing cuz its fun and the community here is amazing very positive people. Ive only made like 4 dollars on his techniques but again I only did 4 hubs like he suggests out of the 100 or so that he tells people to build in one month
I actually found Hubpages when i was looking for a site to write...like a community..., and where i can share and learn at the same time.
I also wanted to improve my writing base on other writers style and knowledge...for me to imitate LOL.
Well i think whatever you do here, its worth it in the long run....cause at least one person or two would likely going to read it...LOL, if you have 500 hubs...whoa, that's a master piece.
And surely you'll earn something too..
A colleague told me about hubpages. He thought I would enjoy posting in the community. I have.
My friend was looking for jobs online when she came across this site. She asked me to check it to see if it was legit, and here I am today~
I was introduced to Hubpages when I was searching for how to install apps on my Virgin Mobile LG Rumor Touch phone. Google sent me to a hub about it (which I assume went viral). I actually didn't register on Hubpages until a few months later. At first, I just wrote to write, but then decided to put Google Adsense onto it to make some more money. Hopefully, it will eventually pay off.
Honestly, I can't remember. I joined over three years ago.
I found HubPages through a WAHM web site under the job listings. I decided to give it a shot and haven't looked back since.
I was searching for some paranormal stuff on google and landed into a hub. i was hooked.
I stumbled upon Hubpages while I was trying to familiarize myself with Squidoo in November 2010. I like the community here much better than Squidoo, so I stayed. I also wanted to try and see if I could earn money writing.. here on Hubpages I proved to myself, I can. Friggin' amazing!
Welcome to Hubpages!
I found Hubpages through Squidoo. There was a blogger on there who wrote about Blogging and she mentioned Hubpages
It was through a facebook ad about 2 years back. Then life kind of got a little crazy with a business I started, work and school. I recently simplified things with life to refocus on my career & the school completion related to that. The result is more time for me to write. This is a great stress releaver for me, as well as having the money making potential that attracts many people to this site.
Through stumbleupon. Purely by coincidence. And I love it here!!!
A friend and co-worker recruited me to write on here as he knew I had an interest in writing. He is trying to raise money for a disabled woman he knows and got me to join in this effort with our HubPages earnings going directly to assist her with the things she needs. He is a gifted writer and in exchange for helping him raise money, he is helping me develop my writing skills.
I was researching for something and then a hub appeared! I think it was destiny because after a month, my boyfriend showed me this article of writing about the things you love with some earnings in return. I was enticed more with "writing about things you love". And now I'm here enjoying the whole hubpages community.

I have been on Hub Pages about a year and I have written about 27 Hubs and they have received close to 5000 views, which I felt was not bad and my status hovers between 82-88. Last week I had about 8 of my Hubs featured, which again seemed ok. Now magically overnight, I have all these codes now...

Where did you first hear about HubPages? What made you decide to join?

I've been on here for a few years, and I guess I never really understood the point of these scores. They don't seem to provide any real value to the user and I can't convince myself that they add value because they fluctuate so much. What's the point? Am I supposed to use these scores to tell me...

I used to be a hubber and I posted how to's and informational hubs, but I got burnt out because it wasn't my niche. I have written one short story now, do you think creative writing is a good way to go on hubpages?

Hi ya'll. I'm a newbie and am wondering what hub scores ranging from 47 to 56 mean? What is a "good" hub score and how does that impact things? Thanks so much!!!
