    What's worse: pornography or cheating?

Me and my girlfriend recently got in to an argument about which is worse; a man who watches pornography while in a relationship or a man who cheats while in a relationship? What's your opinion on this?

...So which one of you or your wife thinks watching porn is actually worse than cheating?

... um, cheating is SO much worse. pornography you're enjoying by yourself whereas cheating is a group sport

Your girlfriend was having an "argument" about this - yet she asked the question? Isn't that a discussion?

But yes, cheating is far worse from the male view - don't know about the female side.

Of course cheating is more worse. Watching porn can't harm someone's feeling if they know you're doing it, but if they know that they are being cheated, it will surely hurt them much.

Cheating is far more worst. Personally, cheating is a no-go area. . .

I don't see the problem with either of them. There is no universal answer to this question. It really does depend on the nature of the relationship.

Pornography is not nice but, to be honest, most people watch it, some more than others and even people in relationships. Some people deny watching it others are open about it, but the best policy is to be open about it. Pornography is a normal thing and men will be men so let them be.
Cheating on the other hand is completely WRONG. It is a betrayal of trust, trust that will never fully return to the relationship. Cheating bewilders me as why would somebody be in a relationship with someone and then go and cheat?
Cheating will obviously destroy your relationship so why are you in one with them in the first place?
    Overall: Cheating is exponentially worse

Porn is just a cinematic and/or literary genre.  It may be enticing, provocative, or smutty - but deserves no moral evaluation.

Cheating, on the other hand - and I'm talking real cheating, you know, ACTUAL genital contact - not these trite and irrelevant NON-categories invented by jealous, hovering, high-maintenance, grumpy, insecure and ultra-possessive, exhaustingly needy control freaks who tried to make up such NON-sins such as cyber- and/or phone- sex, which names are as dumb and impossible as "kinda pregnant" - no, ACTUAL sex outside of a mutually agreed and *DISCUSSED* monogamous relationship - is not only dishonest, assholish, and a completely thuggish betrayal - it is dangerous.  For both of those reasons, it is staggeringly unfair, selfish and despisably wrong.

I believe both are equally bad. Matthew 5:27-28 says " 27-28"You know the next commandment pretty well, too: 'Don't go to bed with another's spouse.' But don't think you've preserved your virtue simply by staying out of bed. Your heart can be corrupted by lust even quicker than your body. Those leering looks you think nobody notices—they also corrupt."

Whether you are in the physical act of cheating or you dwell upon the desire to be with someone...its all wrong. Also in my opinion pornagrapy can open a gateway to the physical act of cheating.

Cheating is far worse than watching (any type of movie) or reading a magazine!
    It's not even close.

Definitely a man who cheats in a relationship. The damage that it is done to the relationship is irreparable. The man who watches porn, on the other hand,  is simply living out his fantasies in theory only. Nobody should be hurt by this practice, unless this causes the person, in this case the man, to go out looking to fulfill this fantasy.

Everyone cheats on their partner in some way, even if it is just for a few seconds with unfaithful thoughts. The reason why someone is afraid the other partner might be cheating is normally because they are cheating themselves in some way.

Holy cow guys n' gals, I'm loving the response. It was a very strong argument, not just a discussion. I'm on the side to say that cheating is worse; she told me she would rather be cheated on than have me watch pornography. The original debate was sparked from a movie.
