Is hubpages 75% women ? smile)

Recently I noticed that women are far more prevalent than men. Just a quick observation, I might be wrong. What do you think?

That's a good question and you know that has crossed my mind in the past as well. It certainly seems logical to assume, that there are more women on this site than men. Also I believe that when it comes to birth statistics etc..., the population of women in the world are more than the population of men. So by incorporating this theory, I would take a wild guess myself and say that yes, women are more prevalent than men, even on Hubpages.

I have seen alot more women being active on this site on a regular basis then men... maybe they have more patients and opinions then men!

Yes, maybe they are just more interested in sharing opinions...
    that would actually make sense.

When I first came to HubPages it seemed like it was a place that was run by women because of all the women on the index page of the site. Later on I discovered there are also some men here but I only made that discovery after using Hubpages. First impressions can be misleading and I guess I was misled to believe it is a woman's website.

I believe there are more women than men active on Hubpages but it just could be that men spend less time on the forums.

After all, for many you cannot tell the gender by the Hubbers name.  Even the photo of the hubber may not give the correct view of who the hubber is.

Of course it is, that's why I'm here to scope out the ladies! Just kidding, not too sure, I've seen quite a few higher rated Hubbers are female.

More woman like to voice their opinions, write or blog on the web then men, so I'd say 75% is about right. My guess is 77.3% smile
