How much television do you watch?

Try and have at least one day away from the TV, ideally longer. It is the greatest scientific indoctrination tool ever invented. Free your mind and turn it off. You have a mind of your own, please start to use it for yourself; “Believe nothing, no matter where you read it, or who said it, no matter if I have said it, unless it agrees with your own reason and your own common sense" Buddha.

On an average, I watch two hours every day. I had been away from TV for months several times. But since last 2 years, I am regular and believe me I was more productive when I was not watching television.

I dnot waste my time in watching serials and movies. I think we can have more updated news from Net. TV really spoils our thinking power and the main thing it affects health as well.

I don't watch television at all,i really stopped doing that since the Egyptian revolution. The news were so fake that they told us "nobody is at the streets right now and the streets are really calm",while millions of people were standing in the main square in Cairo (Tahrir Square),asking for a change. This was so bad from the government since many people believed what the news were broadcasting. All the media were fake, including Radios,it was a pretty hard time, but finally the people got what they wanted and now we are all free, having a better life.

I think this is a very important point you are talking about here,i hope you will start a hub around it and i will be the first one to Vote for you.
    Thanks!!

On average I probably watch television around an hour per day. I don't get much time during the week when I am working and manage to cram a few hours at the weekend. I should really be concentrating on writing hubs then, but am usually so tired with working full time and keeping track of my daughters!

I don't watch television anymore. I do go to movies (the ones I like) and I enjoy a wide screen and the popcorn etc.

Surprisingly very little for a person like me, most of my time is spent on the following: Reading book, playing xbox/ps3 and writing blogs.

When I'm home alone I like the noise from the television, as far as actually watching television probably 2-3 hours a day.

I do not watch TV.  I have an older TV and I do not have cable so I literally can only access nothing except a white screen.  I do enjoy watching a lot of movies and I play a lot of video games, but I can sometimes go upwards of two weeks with out turning the TV on once.  It is quite rewarding once you get used to it! I usually only watch movies when I am sick or late at night and I play games with my boyfriend... it is what we do together since we don't go out drinking or party.  So I quite enjoy not watching TV because there really was no point to it for me.

I watch some, probably would watch more if I lived alone again, but now the set is held hostage by teenagers. Don't want to watch what they watch. But Hulu and Netflix count, so I probably watch more than I should.
