   What do you do and is it the dream job you always wanted to do
   
   do u love what you do and if you have the opportunity to change to any other job this world had to offer....what would it be

   I was (am) a teacher and have loved it because of the kids.  If I had an opportunity for another kind of job it would be in the medical field.

   I am a freelance writer and yes I love it. But it wasn't always my dream. I'd like to be a teacher some day.

   Being disabled, blindness in one eye and an increasingly opaque cataract in the other, forced me to leave my normal job.  Writing online has enabled me to get a lens implant and have, for the first time in my life, perfect vision in one eye.
   
   So my dream job is doing just exactly what I am doing now. Writing online, a considerable amount of which is done on Hubpages. I would not make a change even if I could.

   well can;t say my day job is great but there is worse, my secondary job is cool and I like it. Dream job would be rich film maker.

   I " manage" a kitchen.
   
   
   It is close, but it is no cigar.
   
   In my fantasy...........I would cook, I would cook what I want to, not what the " state" advises.
   
   In my fantasy, I could say.........this is what I have prepared.....eat it or do not.
   
   I would not count calories, carbs, grains, protein, sugars, I would not be at all concerned with your cholestrol or potassium levels, your blood sugar would never enter my mind or my day.......I would not police your eating.....in my fantasy...........   
   
   If you like it, here, have some more...I cooked it for you......would be my mantra.
   
   Already, I have had enough "jobs" and "career paths", to know, this, ( feeding people) is my calling............what I could do without, is the monitoring of your diet.

   I've always dreamed of doing what I am just now getting around to do--making a living writing. Although there may be some debate in my mind as to what constitutes a "living", lol, but I still have dreams that will increase the longer I am at it.

   I am a Special Educational Teacher and Yes, this was my dream job. I had worked very hard thru college, raising children, working full time, to require my dream of being a teacher to make a difference in a child's life. No child should ever be left behind and I will do my best to make sure that child has the best education ever.

    i'm a civil data processor and its awesome, pay is greater than 90% of the jobs around and our boss is amazing, takes us out for business dinners, breakfast meetings and does the 'coffee' run if we are all in the office.. wouldn't trade it for anything. not even to run my own business. i prefer to be earning what i do and not having to be in charge to get that kind of pay.
    
    but any job is what you make it.. smile and appreciate the fact there are thousands of people without jobs.. who can't afford their rent, or even food. any job is a great job right?
    
    i had a dream once of something great but i am more than happy with what i have, in work and in life, i work, i write novels, i play on hubpages i have great friends and help in the community when i have spare time.. i'm strong and i'm healthy.. my kids are grown an awesome, what else is there?!
    
    @ one good woman.. why not just do what it is you want.. create a cook book or something that people will benefit from and stuff the diet.. i never diet, i eat what i want when i want.. and never put on weight, you'd never catch me counting calories LOL just do what you love, make it taste and look good and it will all work out.

    I am a fundraiser. A big part of my job involves story telling and letter writing. It's good in the sense that most of what I do involves writing. Nothing gives me greater joy than writing. However, fiction is my favorite. If I could do anything, it would involve writing in the context of travel. I love to write, but I am also not a huge fan of being stuck at a desk all day. And I love to experience new cultures. It is a huge source of inspiration.

    I'm a software developer and used to write games - this was my dream. I fulfilled it and then it became less and less interesting. So now I'm on the venture for a new job I would love in the same way I loved programming.

    I work in a school but I don't work with children, I'm in the office. I'm 48 and I'm still not sure what I want to do!  My idea of the perfect job would probably be to be a professional sports person - imagine doing something you really love (and at which you excel) for a living.  I like doing creative things too!
