    Do you believe in fate?

I don't think there are any coincidences in life. I've been thinking about this a lot today. But I'm not sure if this necessarily means that fate has to exist. What is the difference between fate and free will? Can they exist together?

I feel like everything is predetermined to have freewill.  I don't see them as opposites, rather as two separate ideas.

I believe that your freewill helps decide your fate. Fate is the current of the river, what direction you swim, and how well, is up to you.

I don't believe in fate. You're in control of your life, fate is not consequences of your actions. Fate means everything in your life is predetermined, that your life is just a sequence of events that already have the answers.

If you bring fate down to it's level, we're nothing but slaves to some other force that is picking all our decisions in our life. With fate, it means we're actually not deciding things, we're just playing the game until we finally demise. I don't like that idea.

Yes I do, it's just like any other word in the dictionary with a meaning.

yes I do believe in fate? In our journey things may seem as if we are the sole intructor of our life's direction. However, nothing that takes place is our own doing even with free will the result was ultimatley designed. Its almost like when a highway goes under constuction, several options are given that detour you off the main path, yet in still, getting you exactly where you were designed to be juSt maybe in different timing. Hope this makes sense.

In a way, yes, I believe in fate.  Everything happens for a reason, some things are in our control, others are not.  The decisions we make and control can influence our fate.  Despite the events that happen in life, even in our worst times in life, there are opportunities to learn and improve ourselves.

Yes I believe sometimes it plays a pivotal role in our life. Whenever anyone talk about fate, Thomas Hardy comes into my mind. His all novels are based on chance and fate.

Yes fate is preordained  but this doesn't mean that one should not  rest at that. God has given us a mind to think, and hands to do work so do the best  according to your mind.

I believe that my path in life is pre-chosen by God and I must try my best to follow His way for me.

Everything is predestined, but we have the right to choose. God just made us to where He knows what we will choose before we choose it.

It's a LOT more complicated than that, but that's my general thought on it.
