Who thinks about sex more? Men or Women?

Is it true that men think about sex more than women? Or are women just better at hiding it?

lol...they say men and it's probably true, but I think a woman in her 40's might challenge that notion. Seriously though, I think men as it's more of a physical release for them while women view it as "physical" and :emotional"- meaning, it's a form of emotional bonding as well. Men think about sex, women think about romance- maybe?? Great question!

We're led to believe that men do. Whether that's actually true or not I'm not sure. Possibly.

lol I love how the guys say the women and vice versa.
I am also going to say women -  its just men are less shy about it. Some great answers.. cheatlierepeat I think our society wants us to believe that men are less emotional and don't think about the romance. (By the way this is not an admission that I cry after sex) BUT I would say I know women who love having no-strings-attached sex, whereas I, for example, find such liaisons pointless...

Also it takes two to tango and on the assumption that everybody was heterosexual statistically we are talking 50/50 oui? (I am not French, but felt my romanticism demanded a French accent).

I have just had a great idea for a hub ... but in the mean time tell me this... why are men who have lots of indiscriminate sex glorified as "players" while women who do the same are labelled as "easy" and frowned upon?

Ha Ha if we could only live a few days in each other's minds!!
I would say it is men, but I don't know of any science behind that.
They say men think of sex once every 30 seconds, I would say they are 15 seconds over.
When a man sees a woman, long before she is anything more than a silhouette, he is already asking that all important question... "would I like to do her?"
If there are no women in sight we are creating them in our minds.

I heard that a man thinks about sex every 5 seconds!  That is a lot of thinking about sex!  I believe one way to find out is to have a group of men answer this question -- weed out the extreme responses and come to a conclusion based on an average. It is possible that the number of times men think about sex varies with age -- meaning  a younger man may think about sex more often.  If the question is  who thinks about sex more, men or women --  I believe -- barring for exceptions of course -- the answer would be men.

Of course men think about sex more then woman, it is scientific proven fact.  Men are fertile all the time, which mean they are always ready to go, so men are always at a ready stage when it come to sex, women on the other hand, has their fertility run in cycle and just like men, women only think of sex during a time where they are more fertile.

But, this also mean, when it come to sex men have more self control then women, because, been always fertile, men need to continue to demostrate self restrain on a 24/7 basis, where women on the other hand don't need to do so.  Amount animals, who have much less self restrain capability, you see it is very frequently for a male to rape a female, this do not happen amount humans, because human are high intelligent species, so human male are able to demonstrate a level of self restrain other animals can't do, when it come to sex

Sex only comes in mind when both have the urge of desire.

As who is thinking more, I do believe it will be something equal to both.

Desire usually comes when you view some sort of sexual scene or watching some movies where it will arouse that sort of feelings.

I do believe it is normal for both sexes to think of it whenever there is a need arises. Whether or not who is the one that thinks more or less does not really matters. I always believe in asking when in need of sex rather than guessing who needs it. A quick question will be fulfilling when both are in need of sex. It is more arousing to know before hand than thinking of your partner whether he/she wants it.

I guess we should have more sex to produce children as our population is depleting.

men do and i will debate that with anyone. i swear , it's the first thing i think of when i wake up and like most men, it crosses my mind all day no matter how much sex i've had. i think for women, they are more emotional on average about sex so it isn't an obsession for them.

    For me, i'd say women
