   I don't know what it does, but playing the piano just awakens something inside me. I guess it satisfy my need to express myself and what I am feeling right when I am playing. And it's a lot of fun too. I don't want to sound arrogant but when I and my friends see me as the "Piano-guy" it gives me some kind of pride and glad that I'm different. You could that it a part of me, it makes me special. We should all feel special and not like(sorry for the cliche") another fish in the ocean.

   Music saved me from depression. When I started singing and making my own songs, all my demons went away somehow. It was a slow process but while i was learning how to play guitar and sing, i was starting to feel better and better.

   Hello Lady_E, Music transports me to different time periods. When I listen to Stephan Grappelli or Eddi South, Claude Williams, John Creach. I am instantly transported to other time zones these are  violinist. many people are unaware of Eddie South and john Creach but they  are some of the best violinist I have ever heard and I have heard many. This is what music does for me. Have a nice day.

    There's really nothing that can be said that hasn't already been stated by other users. Music makes me feel good, and often energetic depending on what song I listen to. Also, it helps inspire me when I want to draw or write.

    Playing the piano is a method of self expression for me.  Listening to music depends upon the mood I am in when I am listening to it and what kind of music I am listening to.  What I love about music is there is a song for every mood.
