If we're talking about which one I would prefer NOT to lose, it would be my sight. Working in the eye field, I see how difficult it is for people to lose their vision.

I think its easier to survive with an eyesight rather than based on hearing

I would choose eyes. I think that with vision you could learn to lip read which could replace your lost hearing. My reasoning is that I feel I could still get along in life without hearing, but without vision I would feel severely handicapped.

I would definitely choose my eyes. With the loss of hearing, it would be easier to cope with as you could learn to sign. Losing your sight would be terrible, I wouldn't be able to see my daughter grow up or see nature all around me. For me, sight is the most important of all my senses.

I would definitely choose my eyes.

At least, I would still be able to watch Lifetime movies and Law & Order reruns.

I must be thankful for I have both the eyes and the ears in which other people are not having any. I guess, people who are born without these sense organs don't see any difference at all, they live with it. It only becomes very hard for those people who are enjoying all these senses and all of a sudden they will have to choose which one to keep. For without hearing, you no longer can appreciate anyone's voice how golden it is. You will never hear the voice of your love ones saying they love you. When you go swimming you no longer hear the sound of the waves keep washing down the shore. And you no longer appreciate what you see on television and movie. When you cook, you no longer hear the sound when you fry something in the pan.You feel a lesser person for you can't hear somebody talking in front of you.  I have experienced once when my sense of hearing was affected after I got off from the plane. I suffered a little deaf for almost a month and it was so terrible.  I learned that my colds had worsen the situation. So the doctor prescribed some medicines for it. I got healed, and from there, I realized it's really hard to become deaf. My gratitude to God deepens  for am so lucky enough because my faculties are complete. It's really hard to answer the question which one to keep--eyes or ears, but if I have to, would rather keep my ears working. I really love to hear my daughter, son and husband saying they love me....
