That's a tough one but I'll have to go with Washington D.C.  As a history buff I was excited throughout the visit and in awe of the monuments and just the feeling of being where so much history had happened.  Standing at Lincoln's Memorial looking out at the Reflection Poll brought tears to my eyes.

The picture of the Tower Bridge brings back memories of London.  I've really enjoyed both London and Prague.  If you are looking for history, both have it, although much of London's was bombed out during WWII.  The British Museum is a great visit for a history nerd. (My wife wasn't as impressed with the Egyptian, Assyrian, and other assorted antiquities--of course stolen courtesy of the British Empire, but it was cool to see it under one roof) It's also neat to see Parliament and Big Ben, St. Paul's, and Westminster.  In Prague, there's the Old Town Square, the Castle, Bethlehem Chapel, among other things.  I've basically had only a day in each city, so I'm sure I missed much of what there is to see.  As an American, it's great to see other cultures.

I do not agree with your picture. London was not fantastic to me at all. The only place in England I enjoyed was Oxford. But anyway, the best city I have ever visited was New Orleans, Louisiana. Mardi Gras!
Paris came close, but there is no fun or real party time there.

Wow, that's difficult to answer because there are so many great cities in the world each with their own qualities.  The first one that comes to mind is Paris.  So much to do, between the historical sites, museums, entertainment and of course the food.  And, its for the most part, within walking distance or an easy metro ride.  If you haven't been to Paris, its a must see and visit, but learn a bit of French first.  The people will be more welcoming.

I enjoyed Salamanca, Spain.  It was a really, really fun town with a lot of history and cool stuff to see.

I love Bangkok, Thailand. Everything from the shopping to the people, the food and nightlife. It's amazing.
