Why is my article clicked "unfollow"? Is it happening only to me?

    Why is my article clicked "unfollow"?  Is it happening only to me?

    There are no comments but I have had many views.  If someone clicks to unfollow what does it mean?

    All that means is that someone won't get any more notifications for comments made on the page.

    If I go comment something of your right now, and you comment back with a reply - I'll get emails for every future comment on that page unless I "unfollow" it.

    I agree with Wesman Todd Shaw.  I unfollow simply because my email gets full of messages with every comment made on every hub I may be following.  I view and read a lot, and will leave a follow on a hub when it is first published for some time, and always if the comments remain low..

    cynthtggt, I think you are confused about Follow/Unfollow button. I visited your hub and found that none including you are following the hub. When a hubber publishes a hub, the hub author automatically follows the hub. Then, you will see the button as 'Unfollow (1)'. Now, it is 'Follow (0)'. You just need to click the button once more to follow the hub. And, every hubber who adds a comment becomes a follower, if they do not choose otherwise. Or a hubber can choose to follow a hub by clicking the 'Follow' button. Since there were no comments, nobody was following your hub. What you saw was you yourself following it. I know, this explantion is pretty long-winded. Hope it helps.
