If you were able to live your life over, what would you do differently?

if you were able to go back in time and restart your life, would you make changes to alter the outcome? What would you change?

I wouldn't alter anything up to the time I was in high school but I would change my college life. I should have been more serious with my studies and reach for the top in the board exam.

I really don't think I would choose to do anything differently. While I would honestly have to say there are some paths I 'wish I had taken' such as developed my musical talent earlier or get a college degree, I have grown to live with contentment of what is. Not to confuse that with complacency, but every decision along the way, every path taken, has shaped me and formed me into who I am today. And I like who I am. I can't say with certainty had I chosen other pathways I would have become who I am today. My philosophy: Count your blessings. Appreciate the good you see in people you know. Seize the moment and LIVE in it. Do something you enjoy. Smile. Recount some things you've done right in life. Do something for someone else. Pay someone an honest compliment. And if you need to, forgive someone. Repeat all your waking hours. = )

If I can have my way and go back in time, I would have rebelled against my Dad's religion and go on to marry my fiance, Joe Araneta; he was my first love but was a Roman Catholic while my family was a conservative Seventh Day Adventist. I should have been disobedient to my Dad and our religion...
Maybe Joe Araneta was not a womanizer because he was just one year older than me. Maybe I would not have married three times because I would have been more tolerant and patient with my husband who I love dearly. Maybe I would not have been hurt by the womanizing of my 13-year-older-than-me-and-a-married-man-who-left-his-wife-for-me ex-husband. I have no other "what if's" in my life; but then I love my children; if my ex-husband is not the father of my children then my children won't be as beautiful and smart as they are...so there is really no regrets after all.

I'd be born into a wealthy family and into a different era from the past like around the time of Jesus.

You know, I asked this question and been pondering about my response. I have had quite a life at such a young age when it started. I have been wrung through the mill health wise. I am still battling sickness.  Although my life has been difficult, I was blessed with a wonderful child and family. For that reason alone, If I did things differently, I wouldn't of had them and I couldn't see my life any different.  The Lord has given me what I have, and is in control, so why change what he planned.  Thanks for all your comments, as I enjoyed reading each and every one of them.

If I could take back anything that I ever said or did to hurt another person consciously or unconsciously I would remove that event. I suppose there is always today as a new beginning, starting right now. And, I really love that photo image you have with this question. Blessings, Debby

I would have joined my friends from the International Society of Krishna Consciousness sooner.  I would have been further along on my spiritual path.  I would have become a vegetarian sooner.  I would have gotten in to less trouble basically.

    Best wishes.

I am actually happy with my current life. I am in the environment that had taught me a great deal in life. With that lesson in life, I wouldn't want to give up for anything else. I think I will stick with the same thing in life except if I can have extra cash, I would like to use it to help as many people as I can so that they too can enjoy a healthy lifestyle like anyone else.
