Living offers many challenges and sad stories for some. This is fact and is proven everyday. With dying being the "unknown", I feel that many look at it like the end of their sad life, a relief so to speak. The problem with this is, we don't know for sure and is a huge risk to take if considering the worst.
We only live once and should relish every minute of it. For those who think death is a better alternative I'd ask, are you sure about that? Live this life you're given to the fullest. Death will come to us all in due time.
Interesting but I think if anyone was in real danger or perhaps had a terminal illness they would grasp life. No one is really too scared to live than die, more like they have no real chance of dieing soon so they can afford that luxury of thought. Heavy words are so lightly thrown and all that...
I believe that it is the fear of death that prevents many people from truly living. Unfortunately, more often than not; it takes a brush with death for many people to realize that (death) is inevitable. It is my opinion, that a person can only truly embrace life when they make peace with their own immortality.

Personally, I have no fear of dying, as I am a Christian, and believe, "absent the body, present with Jesus." We are eternal beings. This world is not our home. It is temporary.
