What is one of your favorite pictures of your pets and what are they doing? Do you mind sharing it?

This is my horse Gemini when he was about 10 months old. While I was moving and putting  things from the kitchen into the truck, he decided to sneak in and make himself at home.  He has always thought he was a dog and still tries to make himself at home if you dare to leave the gate or door open.  What is your favorite picture and what was happening when you took it?

Your horse is so cool!! This is my cat Cecilia. She loves to chase her tail. She will go in circles for long stretches of time trying to catch it. Once when we were painting our house we left the ladder out. Cecilia started climbing the ladder, but I guess she saw her tail trailing behind out of the corner of her eye because she started chasing it on the ladder. She went in circles for awhile. It was hilarious.

Wow She looks almost like she is all wrapped up:))  It's funny how animals can amuse themselves with nothing more than a tail.

It is not that I mind sharing it..........but it is stored away on my phone and not my computer..............and at this late hour..........no, I am not to unplug this cord to attach another and go through the electronic procsesses.

My hubby and I were pulling the FEMA trailers out of Louisiana..........we were taking them to all points accross the nation.

His truck had a mechanical problem along the way on a trip that took us from LA, to MS, GA, TN and into the eastern seaboard.   If memory serves me, it was northern Alabama when he broke down..............

Being a diligent mechanic......he set out to tackle and fix the problem........taking my truck to gather parts.............

He left me behind, with 2 trailers and the dog.   It was hot.........we sought both shade and rest.

I opened up the doors to hubby's truck and attempted to make myself comfortable in the heat and humidity.............

When hubby returned, he snapped a photo of me, laying back in the Ford passenger seat, and Murphy, our dog, stretched out underneath the steering wheel.

At the time, I wondered, who is the most important in this picture?   Now, after many months of not having Murphy any more ( death ), I marvel at the trust that I had in this dog!    I did indeed, sleep anywhere, because he was there to protect me.....

This is our little baby Tipsy when we first had her. She can't be more than 4 months in this photo and was so tiny! Sadly we lost her about a year ago to a nasty kidney infection and we still miss her dearly.
She was the first pet me and my husband bought together and was such a huge part of our lives, and our little family. She will always be remembered by us. And I love this photo of her! She learnt to use her litter box quickly and was always so inquisitive.
We now have 2 new baby bunnies called Jasper and Delilah, but we still think about our Tips!

How cute is she in this picture. Oh my goodness!  I think people don't realize just how great rabbits can be as pets and I am so sorry for your loss. I hope Jasper and Delilah are doing well and thanks for sharing the awesome photo.

I love the answers here and the adorable photos.

I would like to share a story about our tortoise shell - Chai. Every afternoon when the sun shines on the front of our house Chai climbs into her pot for a nap. The neighbours walk past and say "Puss is in her pot again", and she glares back at them as if to say "And.........you have a problem with that". She really doesn't like the attention she creates. I was going to plant flower seedlings in this terracotta pot that sits by the front door, but I know she would just climb in on top of them. She looked at me as I took her photo as if to say "And you feel the need to take my photo because........?"  She attracts more attention than pansies ever would.

She looks so comfortable as if to say "Don't bother me this is my R & R time".  I am in total agreement with the awesome photos and thanks for posting Chai's.

I went into the back garden to hang some washing on the line when i noticed my cat Tibbles asleep. What made me dash back inside for my camera was the way Tibbles was using the heather as a pillow. I tried to creep up on Tibbles as she slept but cats seem to sleep with one ear constantly tuned in to its surroundings.

She woke as i got nearer and then commited her jaw to a massive yawn, luckily i had pre focused and managed to get this shot.

Good question and your horse is beautiful, thanks for sharing.

Hi Marble Sweets  Thanks for your wonderful comment and yes he is quite attached.  Everybody that comes to the house comments on what a knuckle head he is and how lovable for a horse.  Thanks again and have an incredible day.
