   Are you passionate enough about politics to donate money to political campaigns?
   
   If so, do you feel that you got a good return on your investment? And if no, why not? (Personally, due to the content of campaigns, I have never donated money to anyone.)

   I am passionate enough to donate modest sums of money to political campaigns, both on the local and national level, from time to time, but not every year or every election.  It depends on the candidate, and how much I believe he or she needs my help.

   Politics is for the public works. If it is good on my consideration then it is always good to donate money for political campaign to the best of ability.

   i would never donate money to any political party though i love politics. politicians tend to be wealthy already and though i might like some of what a party is offering, in the end they won't keep many of their promises anyway.

   I would donate if I had the money. I believe the grass roots should be involved in that way.

   I have donated for years in modest amounts, more modest now that I have been "retired,"  by my former employer, but I don't want the country run by people who do not have the interest of common people at heart and are in the pockets of the wealthy.

   As a member of a political party paying dues is a must.  Although I am involved in class politics and the donation of labour to the cause is the highest ideal.

   they have more money, from the get go, that I have even dreamed of.

    I don't have an easy answer.  If you're asking if I am passionate enough to donate, then the answer is yes.  On the other hand, I haven't donated to any political campaign..... ever.  The reason is simple; because they are all stupid, crazy or evil.  There isn't one person out there who is worth promoting.  Not one.
    
    Ron Paul comes closest, and he's crazy.  When the best candidate for any government office is barking mad.... something is very wrong.
