   I have two fish, a newt, two rats, and a guinea pig and I'm pretty sure all they think about is how hungry they are. There's a stray cat we feed, and I'm pretty sure she only thinks about food, too, because whenever I see her she's letting me know her dish is empty.
   
   In other words I have 7 pigs, masquerading as other creatures.

   My dog, Sam, sits like the Sphinx with front legs crossed, looking up and down the street thinking, "Who can I scare the bajesus out of?"

   Your Pet thoughts would possibly revolve around the past experiences and he or she is more likely to view you according to how you treat them. Particularly dogs are highly likely to adapt to their environment according to how they are treated. I have been working as a veterinarian and I can attest that dogs think about people according to memorized events and this may influence the way they relate to you or any other person in the family.....In general all pets just need TLC

   I got this new bed for Tilly and Minnie a while back, pictured on the day I gave them the bed. They went straight to it and lay on it for ages. I'm sure they were thinking it was the most comfortable thing ever.
   I'm a volunteer dog walker and today I walked a 13 month old dog at the rescue kennels who had virtually never been out of the kennel he was born in (He only just arrived in rescue) We got to the grass and he put his nose down and sniffed, looked up, seemed to be thinking "wow, this smells" a step forward and sniffed again, a step forward and another sniff, looked up and seemed to be thinking "this stuff smells amazing, it's the best thing I've ever come across, this bit smells great and this bit and this bit! We were only out 40 minutes but he was exhausted when we got back from sheer amazement at the world.

   I know my cats think a lot about food and water. But, they also think about sleeping, hunting, and playing. I can be petting one of my cats, and if he is wound up from not being able to get outside for a couple of days, he will start attacking my hand--at which point, I tell him "Don't bite the hand that feeds you."
   
   Cats are also sensitive to emotions, however. Once, I had to bathe one of my older cats who got skunked. The youngest cat was in the kitchen (as I was bathing the older cat in a plastic tub in the kitchen sink). The older cat started wailing like I was killing her, because I was holding her in the water to get her washed. The youngest cat ran over to the sink and started mewing anxiously about it, with big, terrified eyes.
   
   That cat has also become distressed when he saw me whimpering in pain one night. He began mewing, hopped on my lap, and started rubbing his head under my chin to comfort me.

   My dog Snuffles only thinks about walk time and dinner time.  I think he worries when I go out without him as he goes ballistic when I come back home.  "Where have you been, Mom?  I was so worried.. you'd been gone ages.  I'm hungry and I need to pee."

    Food, car rides, treats, walks, going to the park - except when clicker training - then s/he is thinking about what s/he is doing to earn a reward. I think this because I have observed my own dogs as well as those belonging to other people. I think my cat thinks about food, avoiding being chased by the dogs, hunting.....not sure what else...not sure I want to know. I like that my pets don't talk and I am content to not know what exactly they are thinking.

    I have a cat- “It’s so cold! Why am I always soooo cold? I am covered in fur and I can never get warm! Where is that d*mn human shaped heating blanket I keep around? I swear it was just on the couch where I left it before my bath….I must be getting old…I’ll look for it later, this DVR player will have to do for now”

    Pretty sure my dog only thinks about eating and going out front - the backyard just doesn't cut it for her. She constantly stares out the bedroom window that overlooks our street or sleeps near the front door. She also goes bonkers when I go outside any time she knows I'm not leaving for work or just leaving in general. That dog sense that allows her to read my mind and know my intentions is just so intriguing to me.
