My experience, too, msorensson.  Today is a very rare day when I have a leisurely morning.  It's frustrating to just have 20 minutes a day or less to visit HubPages lately, but I hope to have time this summer to write new Hubs!

I spend almost all of my time writing either hubs or answers, I've rarely had time to read which is why I'm not going to disrespect someone by following them.

Reading on Hubpages! It's a common scenario.

I would say I split the time almost equally nowadays. Earlier I was writing more and reading less but as I gained more followers. I tend to at least read a hub each of hubbers who have commented on mine to comment on theirs.
I think it's very necessary that one reciprocates this gesture.

I spend more time on hubpages reading questions and the latest hubs posted by hubbers. They give me lot of encouragement to write more.

It's kind of 50-50 most days. But when I'm on the final draft of a hub, then it's writing that will take up most of my time.

I spend more time writing when I'm here. But I also try to find interesting questions and forums to participate in where people share similar interests.

I enjoy reading more than writing and I spend most of the time reading and commenting and participating on the forum.

i spend some time reading 5 hubs a day and writing 2 hubs a week. So, i don't earn much on hub earnings.

I joined a few weeks ago.  I have been spending more time writing hubs than reading.  And, I do want to write more hubs, not sure on what yet, but thinking about it.

I would like to spend more time writing than reading, but here lately I've been doing a bit more reading than writing.  I do have an article underway now that I should be working on, but as you can see, I'm answering your question right now.

Definitely reading. My writing is somewhat sporadic. Some hubs I think about or prepare for for a long time before I actually write. But I read almost every day. Perhaps it would be better if I spent more time writing, but honestly, I don't.

I do more reading hubs than to write. When I read hubs, I learned more things about the happenings and issues around the world especially on the field of photography and religion.
