If world war three broke out which country would you flee to?
I doubt I would leave my country, and I'm not sure that anyplace would be safe during a world war with nuclear and other conventional weapons. If I wanted to try to find a safer place than where I live now, I guess I would go to a secluded area within a large mountain range within my own country.
Stay here. This is my country and as a citizen, husband, and father I would be as safe here as anywhere else. With Atomic Weapons there really is no safe place. Or should I say no where they will not reach.
I won't flee, I stay with my own country. I have no intention to hide.
I'm in Scotland and I wouldn't run anywhere. I'd stay in my country with my family and friends. We wouldn't hide from anyone and would face whatever comes our way.
Hello Availiasvision,
This would be so hard for me. My parents live in Germany and me and my partner live in the UK. I'd have to choose between them. I do not believe in war at all and neither does my Dad but when I was I child I once asked him: 'Dad, if a war broke out would you take me and mum to a safe place?' He said he would do everythig to keep us safe but he said to me: 'If everyone fled from the war what do you think would happen? There are times when you just have to stay and help your community.' I get what he said back then but I still would not want for me or my loved ones to have to die.
In short, I do not know, I will cross this bridge should it ever present itself to me.
Your 'Team Leader'
none. if a war breaks out i'm staying to defend my country till then end no matter what. it wouldn't even cross my mind to leave.
To quote a famous song written by Stephen Van Zandt and made popular by Jackson Brown, "I am a Patriot, and I love my country, because my country is all I know! I want to be with my family, someone who understands me, I have nowhere else to go...."
I would like to think that I would be with my brothers and sisters fighting. Can't leave my buddies!
However-if I wasn't fighting, I'd like to think I would be at home-probably trying to help in whatever way I could.
I would not flee my country but the urban areas in it. The major metropolis areas is what I would assume would be targeted, that and military bases. International travel I would assume would be difficult under such circumstances, anyways.
I would stay and fight! ... and if its a world war, exactly where would be peaceful anyway?
I would probably stay put. Another country may be safer from war, but not safer in life. I'm refering to years back when a group of people thought a place deep inside Guyanna was the safest from nuclear warfare. It was, but that move resulted in the mass suicide of some 900 people following Jim Jones. My point is, you never know that where you may go is actually safer in the grand scheme of things. No other country on earth has near the defensive capabilities that we have here. So leaving wouldn't make sense.
If WWIII were to happen and it was an atomic war, there would be not point in fleeing anywhere.
Traveling out of the country would probably be prohibited. We would be under military rule and the threat of a nuclear attack would always be present.
Sorry to be such a downer, but if there is a war and you are here, you are probably not going to be going anywhere else.
It has already broken out. The battlefield is the World Economy. There is nowhere to hide. I would keep doing what I'm doing and rest assured in the knowledge that, whatever happens, this too shall pass.

If you could go anywhere in the world with free airfare and $5000 to spend, where would you go?You can only spend a week there and you have to use some of that money on hotels. Where have you always wanted to visit, where would you stay, and what would you do?

Another lie that we've been fed to. I've learnt like everybody that the Allies declared war to Germany because it invaded Poland on Sept 1939, the truth is different. Georges VI's speech says it all! You will notice that the style is the copycat of the one we use to justify our invasions...

As some-one said to the question. "Is any-one else in the west fed up of america's war mongering?" that 'we're already in a third world war due to all the skirmishes that the major powers are involved in'. But does this constitute a world war, or a pre cursor to a world...
