Coming on too strong is a huge one. I don't think men particularly find over-eagerness very attractive.

If a man can dump a woman in one date, one already knows that he is closed minded and therefore, in my opinion, not worth keeping. It goes both ways, I think.

If one for example is anti-smoking and they discover their date is a smoker would you consider them close minded for not wanting go out with them again? Discovering incompatibilities early on saves everyone time and potential heartache. Do you agree?

Yes, I agree dashingscorpio...on the other hand, the future is fluid and dynamic..to close an avenue so quickly on first instance is to limit possibilities early on..however, that is my opinion only and I accept freely other's decisions and choices

I understand where you are coming from. Sometimes people get involved with people knowing there are things they strongly dislike but hope to be able to "change" about a person. "Dump" is for those in relationships not on 1st dates in my opinion.:-)

"Turn offs" and "Turn ons" vary from person to person. What may turn one man off may seem endearing to another man. The best adivce is to stay true to who you are. Ultimately we are all looking for someone who will love and accept us for who we are.
One example which is often raised is, (asking too many questions). However if someone is "into you" not only do they want to answer your questions but they will be asking you many of the same questions in return! Be yourself and let the chips fall where they may. In the end (we are who we are).
