   What is the tastiest healthy way to sweeten iced tea?
   
   I love sweet iced tea, but I am not so fond of the sugar I use to make it so delicious. Are there any good alternatives that wouldn't compromise flavor?

   You could try using Stevia. It is all natural, and 300 times sweeter than sugar. I prefer the herb over the products made like Stevita. The herb is from Paraguay, and all you need is a pinch for each glass. I have written a couple of hubs on it, if you care to check them out.

      Yes, Stevia is a wonderful sweetner that is so much more powerful than regular sugar. We have that herb here in India too!

      Yes, Stevia! They even sell Stevia DROPS flavored with vanilla on Amazon now. A little bit goes a long way...you only need 1-2 drops!

   brown sugar is a lot healthier than bleached, as is sugar cane if you can get it. I always use honey though. If you make the tea hot and let it sit to cool it, put honey in while it's still warm, so it will dissolve.
   Honey has lots of health benefits, like boosting immune system, and has good effects for your skin and hair. And it's much better for you than sugar is.

   have you ever tried "raw" sugar? it is less processed and refined or mabey agave sweetener which is a natural sweetener many vegans use it in place of honey.

      I have tried it in coffee and loved it. I'm sure I would like it just as much in tea. I will add it to the list of things to try.

   Honey is a good way to sweeten tea. I only drink tea when I feel sick, so I add some honey to the tea. Honey is supposedly an effective cough remedy so it doesn't hurt to add some when my throat hurts.
   
   I have only tried using orange blossom honey, though. We recently bought the New Zealand manuka honey for the flu season, but I still haven't tried it yet. Manuka honey supposedly has more health benefits than any other honey.

   try agave nectar- however care must be used as products used with agave nectar  get sweeter upon standing, as agave nectar increases in intensity the longer it sits... but it makes the tea REALLY tasty!

      I have tried agave nectar in hot tea and loved it. I had no idea that it got stronger with time. I will put it on the shopping list!

   I second the Stevia idea. I make sweetened green tea with Stevia in our house. My husband grew up on sweet tea, so I helped him to find a healthier alternative.
