   Do Any Hubbers Have Google Page Rank Above 6?
   
   Delving further into SEO, I looked at the Google Page Rank for HubPages (which for the whole site is 6) and for my subdomain (which is currently 4).  Does anyone on HubPages have a Google Page Rank above 6?

      That's a great achievement to get on the first page of Google for any Hub.  Congrats!  However, I am talking about teh Google Page Rank for a HubPages subdomain, which affects how well all Hubs within the subdomain are ranked in Google.

      Google Page rank is a rank from 0 to 10 that Google assigns a webpage.  0 being the worst and 10 being the best.  Google uses this rank to give higher ranking pages higher priority in their search results.    Google this for more information.

   Absolutely, many of my hubs are front page of Google.com. That's the key to evergreen articles. HubPages has a really good ranking on Alexa.
   
   On Google.com, type in "reasons start blogging". I am second A friend found it the other day in a search. Neat when our own names pop up!

   When you Google Froggy213, #1 is my Twitter and #2 is my Hubpages subdomain.
   
   A big key to that is having a name that isn't used by others on line and for me, it matters more that hubs are up there, not necessarily my subdomain.

   Many of my hubs are either first or are on the first page.  Many more are on the second page.  It really helps with daily hits and continuous traffic.
   
   It takes time to start ranking that high, though; sometimes months.  But once they're there, they tend to stay there.

      My best performing hub ever was "Details Regarding The Facebook IPO".   It is at the top of the Google rankings for that search term (still is, I just checked).  When the Facebook IPO was announced last spring, the traffic to this hub went crazy.

   All my hubs are at different ranking with google. Some are on the first, some second, and some are way back on the sixth, lol...... Hubpages is pretty good with the ranking....

      Traffic is down at HubPages, mainly due to seasonal factors.  The question I posed is about PageRank.  Which is a ranking Google gives all pages based on their content and links to the page.  I was just wondering if anyone is doing better than 6?

   Apparently nobody understood this question.
   He asked about Google Pagerank. This has nothing to do with what page or position your site shows up for a particular keyword.
   
   My pagerank is and has been 2 for over a year. I have several 1st and 2nd result pages (300+ hits per day on one hub, plus 200+ slideshow views).
   So breaking that PR3 wall seems incredibly tough. Getting to 4 is certainly a feat.

    I've been wondering about this lately as I have a pagerank of zero (just started so that's not a surprise). I suspect that you will actually be able to increase your pagerank by participating in the HubPages community as these links should pass pagerank from other hubs to you. This is the same idea as building internal links and sitemaps when you create a site.
    
    Also you can build it naturally by creating great content which people link to.
