As a child, did you ever believe you would be a published writer on any forum, including hubpages?
We often have dreams of what we will be when we grow up, did you believe you would be a writer?
I have wanted to be an author for quite some time. I still would like to publish a book, but I need to make the time to sit down and start getting it out.
How about yourself?
When I was 11 years old, my friend and I wrote a story for a Disney writing contest. We didn't win, but we sure had a lot of fun. I don't know that I always wanted to be a writer, but I have always loved it!
Well, when I was a child there was no Internet or Hubpages. But, I did not think that I would be a writer...that realization came when I was in college.
I always knew I'd be a writer but I never imagined writing on anything like the internet when I was a child. My vision when I was young was writing books.
As a child i have never believe i would be a published writer on any forum, including hubpages
Well, I never imagined to be a writer or something, but yes, as a child books always fascinated me. Wherever I was, books always accompanied me. And as I grew up, in my schools and colleges, my essays were highly appreciated. My articles were published in the news papers. I guess, that's where my inspiration was born from
I've always been a writer, and often wondered where it would take me. To be honest, I'm the only person I know who has loved doing research papers at school.
Most of my life I wrote either for myself, or for something school-related. It's nice now to have an outlet to the world!
No, but isn't hubpages a great way to get your writing across to the world.
I didn't know I'd be a writer when I was a child. I was a creative kid, with lots of weird ideas, but I wanted to work in a pet store, because I like animals. Thankfully I learned what pet store employees actually do, and decided to pursue more uh...creative outlets that didn't involve cleaning up after stinky animals.
I think by late high school I wanted to be a writer, after I went through a depressing goth poetry therapy phase. I believe many depressed weird and creative teenagers go through that phase. Don't worry. I'm much happier now and dedicate my writing skills to funny and interesting stories.
I never thought about being a writer as a child. One day I was in an interview and was asked what would be things that I wouldn't do. One of them was writing and I selected that one. Then I was thinking why not to be a writer and realized that I was wrong and then I discovered Hubpages that inspired me to write and grow as a writer.
I would have never thought I would be writing, but it is just so easy with hubpages.
I have been writing since I was 10 years old but up until 2 years ago I never dreamed I would have been a published Children's Author. I love my writing and every thing I have accomplished
When I was a child, I dreamed of becoming a nurse or an accountant. It never occurred to me that I will become a writer someday.

Are you a published writer?Your writing is so like a true storyteller that if you're not, I think you should contemplate becoming one. Again, I enjoy reading your "stories".

I write mainly for my own enjoyment...just to see if I can do it.If ya publish and no one reads and comments, what's the purpose in publishing?Or if some read and don't respond, I see that lots on my stuff, what's the incentive to write hubs and publish? Is it just ego? i.e. "Hey I'm a...

More and more, forum users are telling people that they do not have the required skills to write on Hubpages.Others, seem to believe there is a duty to defend the website's borders against incursions from the foreign hordes. In this case, "foreign" seems to involve anyone or...
