To be a good husband or a wife: I would suggest a good standard of communication, and understanding between the two. A couple should engage in activities together, and always be there and love each other through good and bad times
Both of them need to have stable kind of trust between each other. The trust and feeling the importance of a partner should not be neglected at the time of trouble. These things should not become just a were word in books, In fact, the responsibility should remain on the shoulders of both the partners in relation. . A family where both the partners express themselves in a way of freedom that home becomes a Sweet Home.
Good communication, no nagging, showing lots of affection to one another, learning to override the bad with the good, learn to apologize when you are wrong, never make accusations or call names, don't be a whiner, get to know your husband or wife before you rush into marriage. They may not always be what the seem. You have to give to get. Dont expect one person to handle all the decisions.
Hello,
I have a great teacher who guides me with everything I need to know about life. And what I heard from him a good husband or wife should become a lover of God and should center their life in the service of God. If a person does not make any effort to know and love God, chances are that the marriage life will be full of misery, anger, and pain. Because no one is loving God or is at least making the effort to love God, they won't really care for the real well being of the each other. The couple will end up being selfish and bitter because they won't recognize that his/her partner is a child of God, loving servant of God whom I should take care of.
Aside from being a servant of God, my teacher also said that the couple should practice these 12 qualities/actions
-humble
-compassionate
-respectful
-tolerant
-supportive
-understanding
-encouraging
-apologetic
-striving for perfection yourself, but don’t expect it from your spouse
-being slow to judge
-forgiving
-accepting responsibility for your own misery
As for the ladies, being submissive is always mentioned in the scriptures. It is said that women should always be ready to submit with their husband no matter how hard it is (this is true for a husband who is a lover of God. if the husband is cruel and keeps on battering the wife, the wife is not obliged to follow her evil husband.)

Divorce; As Yahshua and his disciples travel south towards Jerusalem, he’s approached by some Pharisees, “And rising up, He went from there to the region of Judea, and beyond the Jordan; the crowds gathered around Him again, and, according to His custom, He once more began to teach them. And some...
