Ever felt alone among all ?

Have you ever felt as if you are left completely alone in this words? Though there is everything around you including your loved one, but there is a complete emptiness your heart. It feels like almost killing own selves. What exactly according to you is this? Is it normal?

Yes, I feel alone in the world. It doesn't bother me anymore, I've come to accept it. It's ok to feel alone, and feel different from other people. it just means you're one of a kind.

Of course. I hate going to the main college campus because in all of the croud of students, I feel more lonely than ever. The mall is different because I know my purpose and enjoy gazing at the window products.

Yes. To me it's probably because each of us has his/her own heart searches in life and in my case I find answers and comfort when I stay alone with the LORD in silence, or when I am on top of a mountain, the seashore, looking at the skies or horizon. Staring at Christmas trees and lanterns and the spirit of Christmases are very special to me. For many years, being alone has taken a position in my system. The thing I'm so grateful, though, is that I'm not lonely. My family and loved ones are blessings that makes me feel so blessed. Thanks to God.

I have felt this absolutely and do most of the time. I always feel as if I am on the outside of the window with my nose pressed up against the glass. I can see all of the activity inside and want to be a part of it...but can't figure out how to get in.  Sometimes it makes me feel a little panicky.

I am often surrounded by people I love and still feel very alone. I think it is from my childhood. and at age 60, I will just live with it rather than try to fix it.

Is it normal? I have no idea, but I see here that a lot of people feel the same way.

yes, very often i felt alone and empty, even when family is around or i am in a public place(like college) and there is a lot of people. my personal answer is that, as Bible says, God put eternity in the hearts of men. until that yearning for eternal God is not satisfied, this emptiness and loneliness will remain.
