If you could have a chef, a chauffeur or a housekeeper for free for one year, which would you pick?

I love cooking and driving makes me feel comfortable so I would go for housekeeper. It would be nice to have someone else picking up after my husband and 3 children. I don't think I'd want a year, maybe just a week. More like a one week vacation from my *job*.

Hands down a housekeeper. Don't think I'd want a live in one or anything. JUst someone to come in  a couple times a week and do the dirty work - mopping the floor and washing the toilets etc.

Housekeeper. Would help solve a lot of problems including me spending five hours every week cleaning, doing laundry, and organizing the house. I could be helping my sister with her scout projects instead.

Definitely a housekeeper.  I love to cook and I love my car but I loathe housework.  I'll do the laundry and the shopping if someone else would do the cleaning.

I don't even have to think about this one.  Housekeeper would be my choice.

Definitely a housekeeper. With both my wife and I working full time jobs and two small kids who constantly un-do whatever housekeeping we do manage to achieve, we could use one!!

It is between chef and housekeeper. Although a housekeeper is the obvious choice I think I will be able to afford a housekeeper but not a chef. So I choose chef because then I get all three. I'll be the chauffeur for free and I like driving. I will have a housekeeper that I can afford. I will have a chef for free and eat awesome meals three times a day. So I will be able to eat, be merry and write hubs in a clean environment.

Housekeeper. I love to drive and I don't mind cooking, but keeping my place clean is not enjoyable.

Definitely a housekeeper. Cooking is OK and I enjoy driving, but doing the housework is something else. I usually keep it tidy, but avoid cleaning and dusting for as long as possible. I once read in a magazine some advice: don't clean for the sake of it, wait until you notice it needs doing and I thought that was a great idea!

You didn't mention a gardener, I wonder if anyone would have picked that if given the option.

Chef, no thoughts to that answer.  i hate cooking and make crappy meals.  A chef would make me good meals that are healthy and that i would actually want to eat!  smile  I already have a house keeper and with the money I would save on eating out, I could continue to afford to pay them. smile

A housekeeper, hands down! I love to cook and I'm not too trusting as a passenger. But...someone to clean up would be amazing!

My husband and I love to cook and we don't mind driving so I would choose a housekeeper....what a fantastic thing that would be! We have a golden retriever and he's always leaving nose marks on the glass doors and he sheds something awful so I pick up after him at least every other day!!!

A house keeper without question. I hate housework and would have a cleaner if I could afford it! I love cooking and I love driving and would rather be in charge of those. Do you know of anyone offering to do huse keeping free for a year? If so, please lead them to me!!!

I think I would pick the housekeeper, because I don't mind driving myself and I don't mind cooking from scratch, but I don't like having to clean up the dishes.  So the housekeeper could clean the dishes and all the other housework while I'm busy doing other things, like working.

It would have to a chef, so I could learn a lot of him/her and start my own cooking.
