Act in humility.  If possible, apologize for your contribution to the conflict ask for forgiveness.  If the issue cannot be resolved, get a Christian mediator, preferably someone wihtin the church.

First pray. Secondly, acknowledge the conflict. Next, acknowledge the other person's feelings. Express your own emotions openly, directly and tactfully. Assure the person that you have abiding respect for them. No progress on disagreement or conflict can be achieved without this start. Not everything requires apology and forgiveness; in fact, going straight to these can turn them into empty shells.

why do you feel you must do anything? leave it in the hands of the one all of you believe in and let it go. Would trying to fix or change or win the situation make god love you or the other person more or less? arent we all different and will always think differently about things? is it really that important to win your point after all? doubtful isnt it? let your god handle it

great answer.  Why should "winning" a conflict or argument be necessary? That's ego - not spirituality.

Thank you.   Who cares what you believe in?  Each person has a different belief system.  Mature people realize this & let live.  Immature people are the ones who feel that there should be ONE belief system.

I doubt that winning a conflict or argument is the point here. Rather, it's making peace with the one you're in conflict with. Even God himself said in Matt. 5:25 that we are to 'settle conflicts' , 'come to terms' with those we are in conflict with.

Forgiveness is neessary to maintain a spiritual relationship with Jesus Christ.  Resolution may take time but restoration of relationship with Christ should be the objective.  The Gospel of St. Mark quotes Jesus on this: "And whenever you stand prayi

your question requires a lot of assumptions.  On the surface it would appear to mean conflicts in faith.  But whether that is what you meant, or not, the answer is still the same.  We all believe something different in some degree or another.  Can you imagine what kind of boring life we would live if everyone believed the exact same things?  Diversity amongst humans is necessary, but trying to change someones mind about what they believe in is futile if that person does not have an open mind and is willing to accept the possibility that they just might be wrong in their beliefs.  From the religious point of view there is little room for compromise and/or individuality of thought or belief, and very little logic involved.
You can pray all you want to try and change someone else, but that is quite impossible to achieve.  There is power in prayer but thank god that power only works in the positive.  So we need to set aside our differences and accept each other as we are without trying to change each other to suit our own version of how someone else needs to live their lives.

Real Christians all go by one bible about Christ; who makes it Christian. So if it is a disagreement on a truth then scriptures should be used to prove or disapprove. When the apostles wrote letters scolding Christians they gave scripture always and there is no arguing the word. Of course I know there is but anyone shown the truth and still denying will be handled by God. 1st Cor 5:5 says the flesh may be destroyed but the soul would be saved. Maybe sounds harsh but for an eternity of heaven it is a pretty good trade and what we are told to do. All we can do is give the truth, then it is out of our hands.

You said believers, mow the first thing we need to do is defined what a believer is. A believer is one who believes and loves and obeys both Jesus and His Father. Not everyone that claims the name of Christ is Christian.  When you say believer, that’s too generalized, if you mean someone who believer the bible to be the infallible word of God from Genesis to Revelation even though they may not agree on certain hard to understand scripture that does not deny the blood of Christ its’  understandable  that there may be some disagreement. But the discussion should be done in respect for each other.

But there is another group that claims to be believers that claim the name of Jesus and at the same time hates His Father, if one from this group is in debate with one from the group that believes the whole bible to be the word, and then these two are not both believers because they believe in two different doctrines. One believes the blood of Jesus saves, but the other believes that there’s no need of salvation, and believe Jesus is Just another good man, and not God. Now this is different than discussion of the two believers both believes the same doctrine, the doctrine of salvation is not changed.

Now when the believer and this one who claim to be Christian and deny the blood of Christ is not a believer, so the rules of debate changes, now the believer is in the presence of the enemy so he or she must stand because this opponent is out to belittle the believer, they are not looking for discussion they are looking to put down you and the blood of Christ. This discussion is not between brothers in Christ, it is between a follower of Christ and a rebel and follower of Lucifer, so this discussion will get messy because two enemies are at it’ even though the one who oppose Christ tries comes across as a believer.

Remember, there is Jesus Christ and there’s the Cosmic Christ, these two are enemies, and the person who witness the discussion between followers of the two enemies must be able distinguish between them or he will not realize that one is not a believer.

Ignore it. There will always be conflicts with believer's. There is no point arguing about something that no one will break about. By going against each other, you are making your beliefs even easier for them to disagree with because you are arguing with them.

In ignoring someone, there is no grudge so there is no reason to pray for forgiveness.

I agree with RNMSN. A Believer is GOD's Child, and part of GOD's Kingdom. Sometimes, there is a legitimate reason a person thinks a specific way. Perhaps, the other Believer is at a different season of the journey, or is being inspired in a different direction, for a purpose that does not touch your purpose in life.

GOD IS constantly dealing with each us on diverse levels, always teaching us something, showing us things we don't necessarily want to see, and urging us to apply HIS Truths, Wisdom and Love. When we don't act, but allow THE HOLY SPIRIT to Act, the resolution may bring a greater blessing, or a very particular grade of understanding than ever we thought possible. GOD IS AMAZING. HIS Ways are so far above our ways... Trust HIM. Rest in HIM.

    GOD BLESS you.

That depends on the conflict. Strive to understand each other and keep the unity of the faith, thoughy. The devil rejoices when he divides us. God bless!

I am assuming you are refering to a believer of the same faith.  If so, I would go to the scriptures and find the refences that are relavent to the conflict.  If that does not work, I would get a third party of the same faith to help mediate the discussion.  I would do everything possible to understand the other person and help them to understand me so that we could build a loving relationship, one of respect and care.  If we are of the same faith I would ask them to pray with me so that we could always love one another and the one we serve.  We are all unique and special so we may disagree, it is not the biggest of deals.

    Best wishes.

Talk it out and pray it out.

As believers, we are called to be loving, kind, and always ready to forgive, just as God forgives us. And we certainly are encouraged to address any conflicts openly--in a loving, grace-filled way.

Easier said than done sometimes, though.
