What are your favorite pieces of music by Mozart?

For me: Marriage of Figaro, Don Giovanni, Symphony 40-41, Piano Concerto 20-27, Piano Sonata in F k.332, and the Requiem.  That's just trying to narrow it down, there are too many.

Too many to mention....  One of my all time favorites is the Queen of the night's aria from act I of The Magic Flute!  Most people like the aria from act II, but I don't care for that aria as much as I do the one from act I.

I thought this was going to be a simple answer-the Requiem, but then I started thinking about it some more.  Maybe Marriage of Figaro, Magic Flute?  I don't know.  Also, can I include the Requiem since it was only partially written by Mozart?
When I was in college, I used to study to the Requiem, so it has a hold over me.
    So, short answer-Mozart's Requiem Mass.

Sure include the Requiem, I did.

I like Eine Kleine Nachtmusik. By his father, Leopold Mozart, I like The Toy Symphony.

Don Giovanni was the first opera I have seen in my new homeland, in Perth WA twenty years ago and it stayed with me ever since. Otherwise I love all Mozart's pieces, I have an old CD called 'Mozart's music for studying' and I used to listen to it when I was preparing for exams and my children used it as well to prepare for school. Somehow Mozart helps you to concentrate more and I still use this CD a lot in classrooms.

There are way too many for me to pick just one as well. His requiem, The Magic Flute, Marriage of Figaro, and the violin concertos are all stand outs for me that I can listen to over and over again.

I love Mozart's Piano Sonata No. 11 in A. There is something about the simplicity of it that is perfect. One that is not quite so widely known and that I think is tops is Elettra's "D'oreste D'ajace" from "Idomendo". I also adore Donna Elvira's "Mi tradi quell'alma ingrata" from "Don Giovanni". I was always upset that I could never learn to sing it!
