   Appearence is the first thing a man notices about a woman.  Beyond that it will vary depending on what is the man's favorite physical asset. (hair, eyes, smile, breast, legs,...etc) After appearence comes personality and sense of humor.
   It's been said that men fall in love with their eyes and women fall in love with their ears. However with age comes wisdom. Men learn all that glitters is not gold and women learn actions speak louder than words. :-)

   I notice all women in general. I see the beauty in any girl. Im a sucker for beautiful eyes though Being young I still want to go for the most beautiful girls. Sometimes that can get me in trouble, due to not all girls are as beautiful on the inside as they show on the outside.

   The Every first thing men notice when they meet a woman..is the eyes of the woman which catch man..and then the smile in her face..which reflects that she is a happen person..and she can keep him happy..
   
   Most man always want that a woman should have two very beautiful things in her face..first the beautiful eyes..with a good eyebrow and second the beautiful smile..

   I would say it is the facial expression and the way she carries herself. When somebody is smiling and producing positive energy, I believe that is the kind of person you will notice consciously.

    Hi Claudia....this would be an excellent question to stand on a busy street corner and ask every man who passes by!!!  Wouldn't the answers be fun and interesting?
    I'd have to guess that it really all depends on the MAN.  Just as we women are attracted to any number of different aspects, features, attributes, etc...in a man, upon first encounter...I'm sure this is pretty much the same for men when they meet women. 
    I know if I wanted to just joke around about this question, I would suggest that men, being as "visual" and sexual and physical as they are....(the sweethearts)......a woman's body is a focal point for most men...and then there would be the various 'categories...."........there are leg men....boob men.....rear-men....you know...the usual.   Also, some men can notice, "above the neck" as well.....eyes, lips, smile, hair..........Who knows what they NOTICE.??    It would be easier to to guess what they're THINKING!!!   LOL!!!   Right??

       You are so right.  In many ways the answers here reflect the "blind men and the elephant" situation.  Often individuals tend to believe that their view represents the majority.  In fact, there may not be a majority when it comes to looks.

    As Effer and the men's comments point out it really is dependent on the gentleman. Had a friend once who would always notice a woman's chest area first- often to his embarrassment. For example, once when we we're getting tickets an over-endowed  ticket selling woman asked if he wanted the ones for Pittsburgh, without thinking really cause he was looking at what he shouldn't have, he blurted out 'yes ma'am, two tickets to T*tsburg.'  That was my friend for you. With me it's in this order on meeting a lady: smile, or lack of one, voice, eyes, hair-teeth, and then the other good parts if appropriate.

    Most men won't tell you this but here goe's anyway , guess what ?  They are pretty much just like you !  Yes the phisical attributes matter to some extent .  Personally I see a whole picture ,  looks , body , but truely more important is how a woman carries herself.  A genuine smile ,  a lasting scent ,  sincerity in conversation , No Phonies !  First though : she must care enough about herself and others  to look "nice" . For me  personality in a greeting  goes a long way though  !

    I am not a man, however, as a woman, I've been told by men that they notice my posture, how I move through a room and when close to them, my smile. I do think men are much more visual than women are, so the physical is always the first thing for them.

    I cannot answer for "most men" but I can tell you that I notice a woman's hair first. Probably because I am slightly near-sighted and must get closer to see her smile and face.

    I won't speak on behalf of the other men but in my case, her dress sense and facial expression in that order. I wouldn't rule out throwing a few glances at her bosom or anything else in her that would ooze sex appeal..well that's my take.

    1st thing we notice without a doubt is her looks, the second thing we notice is the personality. they can affect eachother and shift our perceptions. ie if your personality is great you will become prettier, and vice versa!
