It's not very exciting.  But I like to shower first thing when I get up.  It just makes me feel ready to face the day.

I get up early every morning and spend time with my husband before he leaves for work.  Life gets so busy that we find it to be our own moment of quality time.  We also leave little notes for each other every day and have done so since the day we met.  He is truly my best friend and I thank God for him every day.

Doing something of a spiritual nature.  Going outdoors to have my one cup of coffee of the day and enjoying nature, reading something spiritual, prayers, often saying the Lord's Prayer, anything along those lines sets the tone for a better day.

I read my Bible verse/devotion for the day, Diane.  It keeps me focused and balanced.  Then, it's off for the first cup of wonderful coffee, coupled with chatting with my hubby about the day's events, blessings, etc.

I say my prayers, have a small conversation with a picture of my grandma and kiss my 5 nieces and nephews good morning, hearing them exclaim how happy they are to see me again. We live together btw. My oldest niece is 10, my twin nephews are 4 and mentally delayed both exclaim how happy they are I woke up and that they love me and missed me. They both then shower me with hugs and kisses. Plus I have twin 2 month old niece and nephew who give the purest smiles and tiny kisses in the morning.

Eating breakfast and drinking a glass of orange juice. I often forget breakfast and pay for it for the entire rest of the day.

I wake up next to my wife, the most extraordinary person I've ever known.

The first thing I do each morning I get up, I plan out my day, then give thanks for everything as if they had already been accomplished well. That way, my day is smooth and I've never had any problems. I always think good thoughts. I started all these when I read The Secret book and practiced the Law of Attraction. It really works.

I get up early and look at the rising Sun, from my balcony--say a silent prayer to the almighty, for the well being of all my dear ones--spend some precious time with my husband over a cup of tea--followed by the usually busy day.

The ONE thing?  Having a bowel movement.  If I can pick more than one I would also add breakfast and a shower.

My morning prayer and this followed by my evening prayer. It is very meaningful to me and make s me feel devoted to my faith and convictions.

Waking up next to my love, saying 'I love you' and then having a proper strong coffee before facing the day.

Starting my day with yoga as a gift to myself and then to do something purposeful and useful for others:)

I do crunches and walk about an hour each day. Is yoga best? Love your comment
