Will Pres. Obama be held to the same media critisism for hurricane......
..........Sandys mass distruction in New York , New Jersy ! Or anything for that matter ! Not so much about Pres. Obama as much as the MEDIA?.......:-}
Since Pres. Obama was only in New York for a short time to take pictures and go, the media and Obama both get ample critisim. It is rediculous that the media gets the generator while others around them don't have power.
If the media didn't get the generator, how else would they get the word out ;-)
There are plenty of pictures online. The media isn't as necessary as some believe.
Our hearts and prayers go out to the people suffering through the effects of Sandy.
The response to Sandy and the "results" are just starting to be felt and seen.
The real question is about what happened (or didn't happen) in Libya and Benghazi on 9/11/2012. That was almost 2 months ago and the administration is still "investigating". Photos from the Situation Room when Bin Laden was killed and when Hurricane Sandy hit. Benghazi watched live but no photos, no response, and no understanding of what happened.
The administration won't explain and the media won't question or investigate. No wonder the National Enquirer gets Pulitzer Prizes for objective investigative reporting (John Edwards and the love child).
Make no mistake about it, Mr. Obama WILL be criticized endlessly for everything he did, or did not do, before, during, and 10 years after Hurricane Sandy. The right wing fanatics are relentless in their criticism of anything that is logical. Don't believe it? Watch Fox network news for one day.
When will President Obama and the left wing loons quit blaming President Bush for everything else? He has been out of office for almost 4 years. Watch MSNBC or CNN for an hour.
Perhaps because that blame is well founded. If GW had not created the problems, Obama would not be taking the blame for them unfairly.
Obviously the demwits have yet to find Cheney's weather control machine, the one he used to steer Katrina into New Orleans to kill all those demwit voters. Rumor has it it's in the white house basement. Maybe 0 could go down there one day to look.
A: as usual U R misinformed. everyone knows that weather control machine is located in Alaska. Sarcasm seems 2 run rampant in UR party. When U have no common sense rebuttal - attack.
I appreciate both the flattery and the advice, and I'll try to keep the latter in mind next time.
A: i am glad you took that comment in the manner it was meant. My humor is often misunderstood.
I don't understand your question. But I think you're comparing Obama's treatment by the press regarding Hurricane Sandy to Bush's treatment regarding Hurricane Katrina. 2,000 people died in Hurricane Katrina. That's a big difference. Also, the press were not unusually harsh on President Bush at all. They simply reported what happened, like they always do. Bush made himself look bad. That's not the media's fault.

NJ Governor Chris Christie, who as recently as a week ago was a harsh critic of Obama's leadership has a new BFF: Barack Obama.He's been effusive (some believe TOO effusive) in his praise for the POTUS and his handling of Sandy, going on numerous news shows.So what do you think his motives are?...
