Do you think the Hub Pages is a good news source?

I found out who won the election without even turning on the television or listening to radio. I just simply clicked on the "Answers" section here at the Hub Pages, and there was the election winner. Amazing! What do you think?

Of course it is a good way. Here you can find information which you can not find anywhere else.

I don't think so. I have never see hub-pages as source of news. It is for me more like a platform to share ideas and learn.

No! A good news source is one that is unbiased and fact based and not many can write in that direction, as you can see from the major players in that field.

It is however a good source for opinions, how people think and differ and a lot of interesting information on many subjects.

I think Hubpages' essays are a good quarry for ideas, but I would not get my news from Hubpages.

Great what better way to get any news update, save putting the telly on, and at least you can reply to your news source.
Good way of communicating I say!

No, HubPages isn't a good news source at all... yes it is biased, but it is also riding on the back of the wave... news sites are a good source of news...

Fond as I am of Hubpages, if you want breaking news, Twitter is the place to go. Hubpages is great for getting information on a vast array of topics, just not so much for the latest news.

No, I don't think it is a good news source. I figured out who would win on electoral vote once the midwest states started reporting. Hubpages is good for a lot of things but not for news.

HubPages is more like a news magazine which is a news source, but it is not a source for up to the minute, breaking or immediate news. Also, since there is no editor to see that there are a balanced number of articles on each topic, it cannot really be called a news magazine.

To be accurate it is a place where ideas are presented and exchanged about topics of the day (among other things) and provides a means for readers to discuss those topics with the author and not with some moderator or with a group of trolls.

Thus from that standpoint it is an interesting source of news that the reader must weigh carefully regarding validity, reliability and accuracy.

I agree with Larry, it's a great magazine-type source, but not for latest breaking news posts.
