This is likely A LOT to "ask" but if you have a few minutes please take a look.
I've been having fun here on Hubpages for nineteen months and have recently decided to take the productivity level more seriously. I've started designing my own website and intend to start writing more and learning more about backlinking, SEO, and keywords. I am aware that the Learning center should be my primary focus but would GREATLY appreciate any tips, thoughts, and idea's that might improve the direction I take here on Hubpages. I definitely don't want to become overly promotional but would like to increase productivity.
I just recently realized that we can claim highly requested titles once our rank is in the 80s. From here on out, I'm going to concentrate on writing just about topics I can use to back link from my website...which is in the works. I'm just learning, too, but it seems that concentrating on a specific niche is definitely the way to go. I've found that linking on Pinterest is helping me, too... but I do mostly craft writing.
Thank you! Really, greatly appreciate you taking the time to share your input.
Write on any topic but the most informative titles, and use various social sites, the more you participate on HP you make more friends who will help you further.
1) Go for the long, steady haul. There are hundreds of methods to learn, not just a few tips and tricks.
2) Do use the learning center.
3) Read hubs about hubbing by successful hubbers
4) Apply for the apprenticeship program. I'm completing it this month, and it's given me the learning I need to go for a year or more.

PLEASE HubPages...when will we be able to correct our Questions? It's mortifying to ask a Question and have a glaring error that cannot be corrected. When we questioners be able to correct ourselves, even for a very few minutes, like an answerer can? Oh, the pain of seeing our mistakes...

...and I was wondering what all of you Hubbers out there thought of it. I just started working here with the rest of the HubPage crew(my official title is 'Communicator of Awesomeness!' aka marketing manager) and I have heard that the newsletter hasn't changed a whole lot lately. So, I figured that...
