Few minutes ago I checked my Adsense and wow I made my first $100.98 . Of course, I am very happy. I spent many hours writing, editing, editing again etc. But this post is not about it. I would like to thank the many experienced hubbers that helped me. Among them Cagsil, AEvans, SimeyC- for their constructive criticism and great advice , when I posted my hub in Extreme hub makeover forum. Cagsil was also my 100th fan!
I am also grateful to relache and Mark Knowels for their hubs about hubs, keywords, SEO, etc. ( For new hubbers just bookmark their hubs and read them, you will learn so much), almost forgot relache for patiently answering questions on forum pages.
To all my followers and other hubbers , whose hubs I enjoyed reading, and to Hub pages –thanks!
Thanks! I am working on a series of about 25 hubs about australia at the moment, hopefully I will finish them soon and be able to upload them all Good luck to you, surely you will make the next payout even faster. And you have quite a few followers already as well!
Congratulations Karina for that great achievement. Best of luck for more dollars coming your way. Keep on doing the HubChallenge, HubMob, HubNuggets, etc. and see your income getting increased within a month.
First of all - congratulations on your earnings Karina.
Ulitmate Hubber, I just took a look at her hubs and I think that they could generate quite a bit of income. They are well done, well optimized and spot on for a marketable topic. And she's doing backlinks, hublinks - all the right stuff.
I've got some other identities that don't have super high hubber scores. And they get a ton of google traffic. I've yet to see a clear relationship between hubber score, # of followers, hub score and google traffic. I think people spend way too much time worrying about them.
The only exception to that would be if you're at HP soley for backlinks to other sites.
I don't even know if I have an adsense account. My boss was going to set all that up for me. That's okay though since I mostly just write here for fun. It IS nice though to make money for doing very little, isn't it?
First I am not yet set up to reap the benefits of adsense ads on my hubs, having issues with taht and waiting for a team reply, but shouldn't there be ads on my hubs even if I'm not set-up? No I checked my hubs, logged in and logged out. No ads?
Where have the ads gone from my hubs? Is it just me or is this another site wide issue?I checked a few of my hubs and found that the prime ad location (top right) was bereft of any ads? Any suggestions as to why this is happening would be welcome. Have you experienced something similar. Considering...
I just read a reports that if you have more than 100 URL's on a page the search engines don't like it. Is this true as I have checked mine and everysingle one has more than that. Is this one of the reason lots of top hubbers have very few comments in their hubs, and why some even delete them.
So now I can see the light. just repeat what I did and write 37 more hubs and I will make 2 more cents right? But the first set of hubs will again make 2 cents also so I will then have 6 cents! Yes! I can see my income growing exponentially from here on out. What a thrill! Okay so its not...
i've mentioned this before, but i just checked my 84 articles and a huge number of them have ads for 'filipina girls', 'sexy singles', etc. my articles are about gradening, food, travel and family topics - there are even two ads for sex on my article about 'webkinz'! I emailed the help...
