   I voted for President Obama because he needs the opportunity to finish or at least continue to make a change.  I do not agree with all of his ideas or any other politicians for that matter, but I believe he will help this country change for the better.
   
   I also voted for him because his reelection speaks volumes that the world is more openminded and embraces diversity.  Is he different, yes.  Is he a man of color, yes.  But, so what!  Color should not run the world - humanity should.
   
   My final reason for voting for him is the fact that he embraces family and the importance of life.  He encourages education and doing better.

      He embraces diversity is so important! I love that you brought that up!  I was sickened when I read about the politicians involved in Romney's campaign that were upset that white people  are no longer the majority! Thank god we aren't!!!!

      I know abbykorinnelee.  I am still seeing celebrities, media personnel etc. bring up the race issue.  My thing is move on, he's re-elected , now we need to support him and turn this country around.

      Okay, 3 more reasons:
      1.  He represents the destabilization and destruction of the American way of life.
      2.  He has far to many paralels in his background with Adolf Hitler.
      3.  He epitomizes what is worst about the entitlement mentality.

   1.  Women Issues
   2.  More concern about the livlihood of humanity and social issues
   3.  Healthcare:  speciically because he is more liklely to be supportive and do something for the Autism community and more likely to support and push for Autism issues to be made a priority
   
   I didn't like Romney because he changes his stand on issues depending on what benefits him.
   
   I didn't like his temper tantrums when he thought camera were off or the statement he made about Obama supporters being not worth his time.
   
   I also didn't like religion being the basis for all of decisions.
   
   Though, I am not going to say who I voted for in the end.  Just if I had voted for Obama that would why, I think that the economy issues are HUGE.  But things are also run at state levels and a republican governor here in Wisconsin has done nothing for employment and did things smiliar to what Romeny would have done.  I was most concerned that Romeny would say things about women issues that even though its not like he could have say overturned Roe V Wade, its the fact he wants to and wants to make America a pro-life nation because that scared me.  The issue of involving his religion in his decesion making is not right either because of seperation of church and state.  He did a lot in his campaign that bothered me from a character standpoint.  Obama did inherit a lot of the problems and did contribute some to it to and wasn't perfect first term but I care more about humanity as a whole and not what goes in or out of my pocket.  I respect him as well for the stand against bullying, the support for Autism, the support of single mom's like myself.  I hope he can do much to help these areas in his next term and prove everyone wrong when it comes to the economy.

      While I don't think socialism is the best way to go, it is viable; for many decades Europe out performed the US.  However, it is clear that ol' Bernie doesn't have a clue as to what he is talking about, but it is good for a few chuckles.

   1- I wholeheartedly agree with his social views on women, the poor, immigration, religion, and gay rights.
   
   2- He had an above average first term, completing many of the things he promised--killed Bin Laden without bloodshed, ended "don't ask, don't tell", passed Obamacare, ect.
   
   3-  I have more in common with him than any other president in history. As a bi-racial self-made man, he is proof that living the American dream is possible for anyone.

      "Don't ask, don't tell" was the best thing that could have happened for gays in the military.  When I was in the Marine Corps, we had ways of dealing with gays who were a little too open about it.

   My number one reason was: I didn't want Romney and everything he represented. So in that sense I voted more against someone than for someone.
   
   Second reason - women's rights. It seemed like Republicans almost went out of their way to insult every woman in America. And to those females who voted Republican: I don't understand you.
   
   Third reason - I believe Barack Obama needed a second term to complete or at least develop what he started in the first 4 years. One term is not enough for a lasting change. We need universal healthcare, we need government stipends, loans and scholarships for the students, we need abortion and contraception be available to whoever needs it, we need more environmental programs, we need to repeal Bush's tax cuts for the rich, and we don't need any more wars. That's why I voted for Obama again.

      You don't get it. Try hard here: there really are POVs out there essentially different from your own, and not according to the Law of the Three I's. I did vote for him, for ... well, the first of those reasons, not so much the latter ones.

    His outlook on healthcare and the direction he is trying to go... Universal would be nice.
    
    Don't ask, Don't tell, women's rights, education, his fight for the middle class...
    
    We are ready for the changes he is making...Corporations have run this country into the ground...we need to take it back. Being poor shouldn't be a dirty word.
    
    Romney was a frightening prospect for president. Only in America could someone get away with the rhetoric he did. The division of this country is astounding...when did hate become an American value? I have more hope than I have in the eight years of Bush Jr.
    
    I can unpack and take my house off the market with four more years with president Obama...
