   Does anyone have questions about Freemasonry?
   
   I have several hubs that I am starting, but being new here and knowing a lot of the beliefs that some people have about Freemasonry - I would like to know if anyone has specific questions they would like answered?

      I have not claimed to be a Mason.  The highest degree is the 3rd, there are other degrees and the highest number being the 33rd. I am assuming that are you referring to the York Rite and the Scottish Rite.

      Usually a mason has to make you an apprentice. But you first must have show some level of 'brightness' or 'virtue.' Don't be a mason. Its just full of arrogant people who really know NOTHING about ANYTHING, who get unmerited favors in business.

      I know a lot of Masons.  There are some that are arrogant and some that are great people.  Overall, they are people striving to better themselves as well as their communities.  To generalize a group would be prejudiced.  Will write something on this.

      There are very few things that are secret in Freemasonry.  That is why the buildings are marked and it is generally in the paper what is going on.  The wording in the lessons, certain gestures, and ways of ID'ing other Masons is about all secret

      To my knowledge he was not.  If Benjamin  Banneker was then he most likely was a Prince Hall Mason.  A very interesting individual from what I have read so far though.

   (1) Why are some people paranoid about Freemasons trying to rule the world, particularly conspiracy theorists who write about the "New World Order," UFOs, and other fringe topics?
   
   (2) Can females become Freemasons, and if no, why not?
   
   (3) Can atheists become Freemasons, and if no, why not?
   
   (4) Can being a Freemason help you secure employment, admission to selective colleges, a better interest rate on a loan, etc?  Does it offer any material benefits?

      2. Not the way males can. Females... when you get into the higher degrees, females have no 'spirit.' Like the moon, they can only reflect the Light of the man..
