Why Does The Department Of Homeland Security Need To Watch Me Pee?

I will personally destroy any such camera I ever get the opportunity to see, how about you?

WHOA!......WHERE are these installed?   Have you a link for us to visit?  Although I try not to use "public restrooms," sometimes it can't be helped.  Wesman, PLEASE don't tell me these have been put into use in the U.S.A.
I think MOST privacy/freedom-loving American would, as you state, "destroy" such a camera, when they see one.  Of course, destroying Government property is a Federal Crime punishable by fine and imprisonment......Things have  gone from unacceptable to unbearable and somehow.....I have to believe they simply cannot do this to us.
I've heard nothing about this Wes.....but I have every intention of looking into it. Actually, there's a phone number on that sign.....I can call and SPEAK to someone!!
Right IN the TOILET STALL????   For real??

Wasman's link was the only one I could find on this. People fought the body scanners at airports and this is ten times as crazy. Also, I'm not sure I understand the picture, either, with the guy's woody in the background. But sure, break the cameras!

Who knows why the "homeland"...creepy in itself....does anything? Paranoia makes $ i bet. Like how the 1s head of it--Chertoff--owned  stcok in the x-ray machines they used. There is an NSA whistleblower on u-yube who says the new NSA site in Utah will house EVERY single key-stroke ever made.  He says they may need to target you one day, and bada bing bada boom!--they have all they need to twist, co-opt, insinuate..etc. Kissinger :make them scared,Goebbels: lie lie lie...and even if you dismiss it, it gets in your consciousness. For instance, I was followed on twitter by someone with this beautful mid-eastern handwriting..so I followed back. But THEN, i started thinking..."I don't know what they are writng....what if it is "terrorist" talk.....they can get me for conspiracy!!" Like they did to that dude who simply requested an appliction for a group, and they runied him. "Destroyed his mind, gave him a new one"....ick. Sickos run this world. We need an enema!(Jack Nicholson)

Oh I see...only gvt has lunatics, is that it? That's right...cause gvt employees are not people like us, huh? Rotten people do rotten things.Gvt is but one gang in a world full of them. I hate guns. Why have a prob with that? Perogative to dis-agree.

Good point but the fact is that cameras like these are now, for some countries, a normal fact of life. Society is becoming more like Orwell's Big Brother culture - superbly outlined for us in his 1948 novel 1984!

Here in England I'm afraid to say we have far too many cameras snooping in on us, from road traffic to city centre lenses. Cameras are everywhere and we've allowed the powers that be to walk over us.

The reasons we have so many are to do with crime and new policing tactics so they tell us. CCTV (close circuit) is used in a vast number of criminal cases these days and it looks as if it's going to stay that way for a long time. All manner of convictions rest purely sometimes on these images - evidence and proof!!

As with all technology there is a good and a bad aspect to its use. Your example of a camera in a toilet, a restroom, is going a bit too far!! I'd be very suspicious if I went for an innocent pee and ended up being 'viewed' for research purposes. Who the hell researches into urination habits?

Will there come a time when saturation point is reached and everything we do will be monitored? 24/7? The saying' someone somewhere is watching you, all of the time' hopefully will never come true. But things are heading that way and fast!! With satellites, remote drones, street cameras, Google maps and what have you, its a wonder we're not all paranoid.

I wouldn't condone busting of that camera but I can fully understand your motives for doing so. I wouldn't say a thing if that camera accidentally got broke. Know what I mean?

Just called my bro to tell him about this as he used to use the line on stage:  "There's only two places in the world where I can do exactly what I please -- on stage and in the bathroom!" He's very disgruntled about this deal as retirement took away one place and bathroom cameras took away the other and now there's no place at all left to do exactly what he wants -- and no place for the rest of us either. This will sound like a doomsday prophecy but appears to me we're not far away from having to take the mark of the beast as prophesied in the bible? Fact is, when you tear the sucker down they've already got your picture -- sooooo...Big Brother is watching us and another "freedom" is lost!

You all say Obama.....I say look again.

Another lovely tyrannical objective instituted by the Bush/Cheney creation called "Homeland Security". Our government is charged with the power to "protect us" and, as usual, they have botched the job.
I'm sure we need some sort of huge petition signed by the majority of citizens pointing out that government should get their noses out of our pee! (and other bodily fluids).
Now they want to test welfare recipients for illegal drugs before they can get their hand outs. Why do some people think that's a good idea? It just leads to more expensive and unnecessary government control, of course.
I swear there are fewer and fewer people in the world that I even care to associate with they are so ignorant. Present company excepted :-)

Well only self righteous sorts think it is a good idea, IMO.  I'm more into testing congress and CEO corporate welfare sorts for drugs !!!!

Bush/Cheney definitely screwed everything they touched up...but I'm seeing Obama do nothing better. sad

Well, compared to Bush/Cheney I think Obama is doing a hell of a job. My stocks are finally back up, BinLaden and cronies are dead or on the run, troops are out of Iraq (where they never should have been in the first place) and more.

They don't.  We have way too many laws nowadays, and too many people invading our privacy as it is.  We surely don't need toilet cameras!

They want to make sure that you have not paid someone to pee for you because you are on drugs. It's really ridiculous though because there really should just be a single stall and someone from homeland security should be standing outside of the door not directly watching you. It can be such a pain working with Homeland Security at times. It may be all worth it in the end though.

Do they realize that it is a Constitutional crime to be placing cameras there?

Which law trumps the other? I would love to trash as many of those cameras as possible. Their unconstitutional laws be damned!

Before I left the States, I lived in Arizona for 10 years. Janet "WipesHerAssOnTheConstitution" Napolitano was governor of Arizona before being called up to commit treason. I lost all respect for her. She gives Arizona a bad name. (But so does McCain.)
