Yes, yes, yes.  Also, boys should only be taught by men, girls should only be taught by women.  In secondary school, 11 - 16 year olds, whatever it is called in the USA, Iron John by Robert Bly should be on the standard reading list.

No. I find it idiotic. We are teaching children how life will be. In life there will always be distraction. Men and Women work together. Teaching boys and girls seperate is taking the easy way out and setting children up for failure later in life.

I went to an all girl high school for my freshman and sophmore years of high school and a co-ed high school for my junior and senior years. I think both had their advantages and dis-advantages. Advantages-All Girl School-A little bit less stress over how you look-A little more concentration on classroom work instead of on the boys. Disadvantages-Less opportunity to admire positive attributes in the opposite sex-Less opportunity to learn acceptable social behaviors with the opposite sex in a structured setting.

I don't agree.  Children are learning social skills from interaction while in school - negative and positive. I think for a child to be well-rounded and not socially awkward they are going to need to be exposed to the opposite sex.

I have home-schooled my kids for the past 7 years and I don't feel they have missed on any socialising skills by not going to school with peers of the same or opposite sex as theirs. I think kids have so much opportunity outside of the school environment to mix and socialise with others of the opposite sex, that if they attended separate schools it really wouldn't matter.

My kids had plenty of interactions with others of the opposite sex while they were home-schooled, school is not the be-all and end-all of socialisation.

Yes, I do.  Studies have shown that boys learn better in an all boys classroom and by being taught by male teachers.  Girls and boys tend to learn differently and benefit from different teaching methods. I also think there is less distraction as boys and girls get older and trying to impress the opposite sex.

I don't agree. Making children feel like the opposite sex is an alien doesn't seem like a good idea. They will not know how to respond when conversing with the opposite sex. It would cause a lot of social difficulties.

No, they should learn in same place so that they know how to work with each other after getting a job and also to know how we should behave with each other
