I'd have to say either "Godfather" or "Bonnie and Clyde", but then I'm old, so I don't know what's out there now.  :-)

Well, just to shake it up with something non-Godfatherish, I like Donny Brasco (was based on a real story, I think) and for laughs, I love Mickey Blue Eyes.

I'd say the Departed. Can't beat the all star cast and some of the great one-liners between Alec Baldwin and Mark Wahlberg. smile

My personal favorite is Goodfellas. Joe Pesci really nailed his part and it was so surprising to me since he has been in so many funny movies.

I believe its The Godfather or The Untouchables but Casino and Goodfellas were good mafia movies too.

    The Untouchables
1920′s prohibition Chicago is corrupt from the judges downward. So in going up against Al Capone, Treasury agent Eliot Ness picks just two cops to help him and his accountant colleague.

I agree with Georgie: Goodfellas. What a movie! It had a great story that was so well told. And the cast was legendary.

I would have to go with The Godfather. It's my favorite movie of all time. I also really like The Godfather Part II and Goodfellas.

I'd have to say the God-Father.
Though my youngest won' t watch it.
My view is at least they are just killing each other.
To which my kids say " Love will keep us together."
My husband and I watched it in the movies so I really got a sense of the violence.
Mostly all my family has seen it but one of my kids thinks it portrays Italians in a bad light.
    I'm not sure it does.

The Godfather I and II have to be the best in my opinion.  Goodfellas and Gangs of New York were also really good.
