What food combinations have you found that simply don't work?

   What food combinations have you found that simply don't work?
   
   I'm talking about things that you would think ought to go well together but don't! For example, I found out that Junior Mints and Sprite/7up simply don't mix! You'd think they would since these are typical theater snacks. But the mint does not mix with the lemon-lime.

   I tried a recipe for apple and potato hash, which was really good.  I make a great Caesar Salad. I served both with roast pork and it was horrible. Either one would have been great with the main course, but together they were bad news.

   In middle school home economics class for cooking, we were required to make hot chocolate to go with pepperoni pizza and the combination was horrid. Iced water would have been much better.

   I don't know how many times that I have given oatmeal and chance, but I can't stomach it.  It doesn't matter how much butter, fruit, or sugar.  It doesn't matter how I add other foods.

      I really like oatmeal, boil water first with a cinnamon stick then add oatmeal, cook for about five minutes, add a little vanilla and milk. It's great!! The old fashion oatmeal is better than the instant or 1 minute oatmeal. Give it a try.

   This isn't something that would normally go together, but I knew someone that made a dessert with red jello and broken up pretzels, mixed together. Some were hesitant to try it, kind of an odd combination.

   As a junk food connoisseur, I've found that pizza and ice cream are a bad combo.  Chocolate and fried chicken don't work, either.

   Hi last rosé
   I think it is chocolate covered potato chips.
   My sister got them as a gift on Christmas. They looked awful and sad to say they were tasted just as bad.
   I don't mind chocolate covered pretzels. I'm not sure why but they look more appealing.
   Oh one of the kids I sat for used to put peanut butter on graham crackers which is fine but then he dunked them in milk. They got all soggy and it made a real mess.
   It didn't look appetizing at all.

   Menthol cigarettes and Coca Cola are terrible together.  Also, I had a chocolate fountain at a New Year's Eve party, and after a while we started dipping pretty much everything in it... chocolate covered cheese wasn't all that great, as it turns out.

      Chocolate covered cheese doesn't sound good at all. I'll be sure not to try it.
