Seeing old friends unite and laugh while remembering the past. I smile at them and sometimes tear up as well.

A sentimental man who loves to see others happy and who even sheds a tear at their happiness - that is nice, love a man who shows his tender side.
Thanks for your comment Copper Man.

My grand children usually come over on Fridays after school. My husband picks them up and when they come in the door and see me, their eyes light up and they usually say in unison, "Nana!"  That is the warmest lovely feeling.  Then they have to hurriedly tell me all about their day and what they are doing at school.  Absolutely delightful times!

I love that, something so delightful about feeling the love of children and being able to give it back at the same time.  So special!  I can feel the love here and picture it all in my mind.  Thanks for sharing your special moments

a funny act from a young child or toddler makes me smile easily and everyone around me starts to smile too. This innocent child is the best person to make everyone forget sadness or troubles.

Thinking about my childhood days brings a smile on my face always. Those happy days won't return, but still those memories are enough to bring a smile on your face.

Many "things" make me smile; well, many more things make me smile after my comatose experience. However, I will "cut to the chase" and simply provide you with a link to a 15 minute video that made me smile and will indeed make you smile.

Babies of all sorts, human and animal tend to do the cutest things and therefore put a nice big smile on your face.  Nature's beauty, to me, flowers, the sky, beaches, snow, so many beautiful things to look at and think about.  Old memories tend to make me smile quite a bit too. smile

You are so right cre8ivOne,  you put into words the things I feel and see about the world about me. These are the things which lift one up.   I just have to see my little ladybird and feel the joy of Nature's beauty and the day I photographed him.

So many things make me smile that it is difficult to answer this question so I will turn it around and tell you the only things that don't make me smile are hatred, wars, racism and being unkind in any way.

The world would be a much nicer place without some of the things you have mentioned.  Thank goodness it is balanced out by some delightful things which do make us smile.  Thank you so much for your comment Joanne M Olivieri.

First . you need to be in peace with yoursel and others. Do not be mad at people when they make mistakes around you. Do not interfere in other people's  business. Unless they ask you to help. You have to believe in yourself that you can do things when you are making then. So the finish product is good , and it is going to give you a smile. Your need to have good thought and be positive .
