Does God give anyone a chance to believe after death?

No, He does not.  Once you're dead, it's over.  You can't make any decisions.

Well, some people have been pronounced technically dead by doctors, yet have come back believers, where once they disbelieved. Then there is the belief in Purgatory by Jews and Catholics, which is considered a time of purifying for the soul. So perhaps a person may have been lackadaisical about God, yet are given even further opportunity to get "back on track" and "see the light" so to speak. On the other hand, those whose souls have left the earth may not yet be pure enough to enter the the "highest" heaven, if indeed there are different levels.
Just food for thought. For anyone interested, an interesting fictional book on this matter is M. Scott Pecks, In Heaven As On Earth.

People who have been pronounced technically dead by doctors, yet have come back (and btw they don't always come back as believers) aren't dead now are they. Ther fact remains if you are alive then you haven't died, period. No one can prove otherwise

What? Of course you could have died and then been saved. It happens all the time. Your heart stops, your dead. You stop breathing, your dead. Unless someone revives you (which is the case in those situations) you are dead.

Well assuming there is consciousness after death and assuming that one appears before God then ergo it would be immediately apparent that God was real and so unbelief would be moot. As for what happens next depends upon your concept of unconditional everlasting love. Does your concept of God's love allow him to torture some soul in hell because of unbelief during life when that unbelief was a result of zero evidence for God's existence being presented to the unbeliever. That is, if God fails to reveal himself to the living, how can the living be condemned for not believing?

DH, it's not God torturing a spirit for unbelief, it is the spirit not deciding to have the faith to stand up as a spiritual being. It is spirit deciding that oblivion is warm and cozy. You will never have proof if you don't have faith, first.

God never fails. NOTHING depends on what anyone's concept of unconditional everlasting love is or their concept of anything for that matter. All that matters is that God is omniscient and omnipotent and his word never returns void.

    Yes, of course!

In fact, that is the crux of the Rescue Mission the Lord started so many hundreds of thousands of years ago.

Ego is what blinds us and keeps us asleep as spiritual children of God. When we give up Ego, we wake up as spiritual beings. We regain the continuity of consciousness that was ours before the disaster in the Garden. With this reawakening, when bodily death comes, consciousness continues in the spirit. Living in-spirit, you no longer need the human brain for thinking, the human eyes for seeing or the human life for living. This is the point of the Rescue Mission.

And this is why Noah's Flood was only an act of love and nothing more.

What scripture are you reading? "The lone77star Bible Cliff notes"? The Bible clearly states sin, not ego, has condemned us to an eternal punishment which we must pay unless we accept the atonement of Christ BEFORE WE DIE, no more chances, read it .
