I can't believe it. I actually made 7 cents on Google Adsense this month.

How deep do you guys go into promoting and linking and back linking and superduper linking and SEO and so on and so forth???

Clearly, I do not spend any time on these things, but maybe I should. That was a very exhilarating seven cents! big_smile

That is awesome!  Don't you love the feeling!  BTW, I am excited to see what comes out of Project Backlink this month.  When I joined HubPages, I only knew how to write, not how to market or get "found" on the Internet.  I am slowly learning, but have a way to go.  I hope the Project helps you and me and lots of others!

      Congrats, pgrundy!  smile

    Congrats

One way to look at this is something my aunt always said.  Pennies turn into nickels and nickels to dimes..   you get the picture..

    Hang in there.

I have a few cents, too - it may be a long time before it builds up enough to actually withdraw it from the account ...

I've made a little more 7 cents, but not much smile

Can you guys recommend places for us newbs to learn getting found, seo and everything?

    Thanks

There are a wide amount of places to get this information. For starters, try looking for some hubs on the subject, then you should probably go and look at some blogging sites, such as problogger.net, to find some other possibilities in marketing.

Earning passive income from Adsense is exhilarating. Just hang on there for more to come and you will eventually hit USD100 for the minimum withdrawal. It took me one and a half years to hit that target before I managed to withdraw in January this year. But it was worth it!

Congrats!  My google account sat dormant for 2 years with $2.38 in it that I didn't know was there (from a blog long ago that I abandoned).  Then I joined Hubpages, and opened it back up.

I've been writing online for 7 months, and I only have a little over $38 in adsense, but I have not really been promoting, due to some issues I was dealing with.  Can't wait to see what I do when I'm finally working hard on promotion!

    Well done.

It's good to see someone breaking a milestone - those first earnings are the things that break preconceptions about whether something is possible.

Now you know - go do more smile

How much do you think is the most money earned in a year doing Hubpages, Squidoo, or any of these other things?
